Atkinson in for Trindall. He’s been playing 5/8 and seems to be doing okay. Give him first crack, tell him he’s got a few weeks to show us what he’s got. In the meantime, move Dykes to 5/8 for the Jets to get some game time in the halves in case he gets the call up.

I think this may be the end of Trindall in Sharks colours, at least for 2024. Caught driving under the influence of alcohol AND cocaine, while ALSO on a suspended license. No chance he’s even allowed around the club before his court date in May, from there I suspect we’ll give him a 12 game...

Has a long life after footy so glad to see he’s taking the right option and looking out for his health. Would be a great guy to keep around the club in some form of a coaching role, always had a great mentality as a hard worker.

Not exactly the way I was hoping he’d start 2024… With BHU coming back someone needs to lose their spot, and while I felt Kafusi was investable, that’s tenfold better than the reasons I noticed Hunt.

There’s been been a few situations where our back three have hesitated between each other in attacking a loose ball. Looks like there’s a little lack of communication between them. Need to get it sorted because those seconds of hesitation when a grubber is put behind can have a major impact.

Was hoping Dale would have a blinding start to 2024 to make up for his lacklustre tenure here. … not off to the best start.
