Again, it's just my opinion and that doesn't mean a lot in the broader scheme of things. I just thought the club would have celebrated this as our 50th season.

Gil- 40th anniversary in 2006 is technically not right. As that woulda been 39 years or 40 seasons.

Obviously 2017 wont be us celebrating 50 seasons, but a 50 year anniversary or birthday or whatever u wanna call it

As i said im not huge on merch for things like this but id buy a special issue jersey. Maybe a members style jersey but the jersey holds the names of every player we've had? In the original style.

I would however buy a signed/framed commemorative jersey
