good thing about Poms, he can back up in the backrow if needed... and he showed in City/Country game he can mix it with the rest... Put Poms/Lewis on a wing... Old Panthers match up!

I personally can't stand Lyon, and Monoghan deserves it in front of him for sure, and in saying that I think Pomeroy has been playing better footy then Lyon, barring last week, which was Pomeroy's worst game in a long time, so it was goods to see him turn it around this week.

**** no to Poms in Origin unless your a QLDer. Dont get me wrong i like poms but he makes WAY to many errors and i think today was the only time iv actually seen him pass a ball correctly. He needs to prove himself alot more week in week out to be an Origin player maybe another year with form like today being done ever week. he has the body and strength to be an Amazing center but he needs to work on his skill alot more

You're right ,but it wouldn't upset me if he were picked.

I wouldn't say it was an endorsement by Ricky...
we've just got to work on his finesse as a centre.
He was very diplomatic I'd say.

As a QLD i hope he doesnt get picked for S.O.O 2

i have to disagree dier, as a qlder i hope he does get picked, i think it would be a big mistake by nsw to pick him for game 2.
monaghan, luke lewis or even jamie lyon would be more dangerous especially in game 2 of a series. lyon and lewis have experience while monaghan has been in excellent form. i think nsw should pick lewis or monaghan. pom will play origin in the future, just dont think now hes ready.

yer to every one baggin covell use aint sayin much 2 night

i have been one of his biggest critics this year but in saying that i always said that he needed to be dropped and come back to rediscover his form.

and, it was one good game. that dosnt make up for the fair few below average games he has had this year. but hopefully he keeps up the good form

if gasnier isnt playing..no1 else is doing anything special

poms has a good chance

would feel strange though..seeing him go from talented panther to dropout panther to run of the mill centre to looking decent and then BAM! a sky blue jersey

never thought id see pom in a rep jersey

Well Gasnier has being named in the NSW side.... so we'll have to wait a little while longer to see Poms in the sky blue.

peek's certainly the best of the rest in our forward pack.
hes one of our most consistent players.has ball skills and doesn't seem to do too much wrong.
cheap too.

as for poms and origin.
you'll only jinx him by putting his name up.
had his best game by far last week.lets see 2 good performances back to back and talk about how hes playing well enough not to be dropped.

queensland would think it was a gee-up if he was picked.

Well he's definately not playing in game 2, they have just called up Steve Turner from the Storm.

peek should be the first name on the team sheet for the forwards

Maybe I'm biased, though I would of preferred;

2. J. Monaghan
3. B. Pomeroy

then what NSW selected as (if Gaz is out);

2. S. Turner
3. J. Monaghan
