Bit rough, love the Fekster gives his all, hope he moves to centres and scores 10 this year

I think we need to move past the Feki to Centres, it ain't going to happen and if it was going to happen would have a long time ago.

From an actual skills perspective, I know he played NYC there but that doesn't mean he should in NRL. Barba was 5/8th in NYC afterall.

I don't think he's rubbish at all but we could do with an upgrade, if Gagan stays fit and shows some form I'd like to see him get another chance, prove that 2014 wasn't a fluke.

Calling him rubbish is rough and way over the top but he is just an average first grade winger. Without giving it too much thought I'd have the below ahead of him:

Semi
Oates
Taufua
Trbojevic
Mansour
DWZ
Vatuvei
Winterstein
Johnston
Koroibete
Nightingale

There are probably more I have forgotten.

Feki will never be a star and if you could fit in an improvement you'd take it but he will do his job. Ricky is the weakest link in our back line.

I hate the idea of Manu here. Will lose you as many as he will win you.

I reckon he's one of the best wingers in the game, would have him at the sharks in a flash.
Too much Pomeroy in him for me. He makes so many terrible mistakes. I must admit I didn't watch the Warriors much last year so he may of improved this area but I doubt it.

Semi is probably the best atm. I've never seen him have a big run of mistakes and he's unbelievable in attack.

If I was Manu's coach I'd get him to freak out his opposite number by praying, looking at the sky and kissing the ball, giving the crazy eye, laughing at nothing and slapping himself on the face.

Oh wait a minute he already does these things.

i love Vatavai, will admit has a few flaws but my god he is one scary mofo, bumped into him once at a cafe in Melb when Warriors were in town. Really a nice gratuitous courteous guy.. I remember reading a story about him once that he was so shy he couldn't even look people in the eye when he spoke.. Go figure when he and the parra dude manu manu get their crazy eyes going it scares me...

Feki - Flanno Favourite - highly unlikely to get dropped
Gagan - Flanno wanna be favourite but hes always injured, would still be ahead in pecking order
Beale - proven first grader, streets ahead
Ricky - potentially being dropped for Bird.
Holmes - clearly not getting dropped ever
Brown - would be ahead of him in flannos head, hell he started infront of Val last year.

I think a kid who is in the 20's may struggle in the short term to usurp some of the guys there.

Not that i don't agree with you snowman that our backline couldn't use a shake up.

Agree, what's wrong with Feki?

Give him half a chance and he'll score 3/5 .
Our problem the last few years is NOT giving our backs decent ball in decent position .
Feki will score more than 10 tries this year , especially if Beale plays that side instead of Lutes (Holmes would have battled outside of Lutes) and our halves are creative .
Love the Fek

Feki is allergic to the tryline, love the bloke but jeez he loves diving over the sideline and missing sitters that just need grounding

Feki does a decent job on the wing. Does good work bringing the ball back and it's quite strong to barge over for a try. Just have to look at the 2 tries he scored against parra last year. He's major downfall is that he isn't a good leaper for the ball and with 2 good kicking halves we really need 2 leapers on the edges.

I'd still have him on the wing over beale or ricky. I'd like to see him partner up with beale on that left side. He's game would improve playing outside a centre like beale so it's going to be interesting to see what flanno does when beale is fit.

The only person at this stage I'd drop feki for is a fit gagan once he plays a month or so of consistent footy.

I'm inclined to think we need Feki's power on the wing. Holmes, Bird, Barba and Beale are small or not power players. Feki's biggest draw back is he can't leap like Gagan (as you said). Is Gagan strong enough to supplant Feki as a power player?

I believe he is. He showed in the few games he played he has strength, like when he scooped that bloke up who was about to score. I'd love to know if and how much pace he has lost because of his on going leg injuries. He was rated as one of the quickest at the club, not sure about now.

Feki is almost the perfect sidekick winger. The problem people bring up in regards to polishing off try chances is that i find he doesnt have the ball control ability to stretch out an arm and then leap like most of the modern day wingers do as an art form. Most cases that i recall hes tucking the ball under his arm and very rarely does it get out of there. His Defensive and attacking leaping he is pretty solid it just that ability to back himself to dive and stretch out an arm that sees him instead run it out.
Also is he right handed? I dont think he carries much in his left which would help also to fend with his right before the line. These are what makes the likes of Bird, Val and even Gagan such good players out wide.
