The more things change the more things stay the same.
Coaching at its best. On ya Flanno.

And not to mention. Curtis Scott, Ados-Carr and the kid at the Broncos all killing it whilst we've got that ****ing hack Mitch Brown still running around.
Development and progression at its best. On ya Flanno.
Poor coaching but the Broncos didn't win a game
At this tournament. Hardly killing it mate

Thats something to be happy about... Hearing the Broncos didnt even get a win. Did the guy Bessie Aufaga Toomaga even get a run this tournament?

Other thing... One of the tries they scored was a double movement surely! It was ruled as one yesterday so why cant the Refs show a bit of consistency just for one season let alone over a 2 day tournament!

Good to see the bi-polar rollercoaster back in full swing in here.

Yas love a player one game, claim best thing since sliced bread almost. Then roast them very next game ha.

Is disappointing that they are out by 1 differential point. But ****, what can you do.

Although a disappointing end, people seem to forget it's just the nines. We made the finals last year and started the season off terribly.

Nines this year, proved its purpose.

Bird will prove to be a damaging centre. The solo try in the first game was evidence that he can spark opportunities on the edge from
nothing.

Barba has his confidence back, showed safe hands, good positional play, attacked the line and found the holes. His defence was caught out a few times, but that's understandable considering the structure of the nines. Barba has proved his defence when it matters, my biggest concern was that he's lost his speed and flair which I was happy to be proven wrong.

Taga was disappointing. He was damaging in previous years in the nines. Made no impact and had too many unforced errors.

D. Fifita impressed me. Ran hard, straight and burst though the line multiple times and with continual improvements to match fitness will be quite a handy forward for us.

Chad was the most impressive to me. Took control of both games. Was involved in everything, great defensive reads and had a strong running game. I've got no doubt he and Maloney will form a great partnership in the halves.

Mcllwrick had played a good tournament, it's good to see we've got good depth in our hooker department between he and Brown should injury hit Ennis.

Leutele played well and consistent. Just lacks that X factor about him.

All in all, makes me adamant that Barba has to start at fullback, bird to the centres which leaves Val another year on the wing to break all those try scoring records.

We're in for a good year Sharkies

"The Sharks didn't know they were out" haha **** me
Yeah, like I said earlier the dumb ****s did not realise.

I wouldn't mind hearing some official comments from our coaching staff.

I know people will say only the nines, it's still a competition with a prize pool. Why wouldn't you like to win?

As noted earlier pleased on the injury front.

Barba is a great touch footy player, but shouldn't run out for us this year. The team is better without him.

Surely they thought about it though? Like surely they didn't think they were through just because they won 2 games? It's idiotic.

And I know it's only the nines, but if they couldn't even work that out, it doesn't leave a lot of confidence for the season ahead

Spider sense was tingling and I pop back in here and what do I find, some lovely unabated Flanno bashing. Nice work boys, I was hoping someone would take up the stick while I had my annual forget anything Flanagan months.

It embarrassing if they had absolute no idea and thought we would go through automatically.

That's why I would like to hear from the staff. Not that we would hear the truth if they did **** up.

I look forward to the 9s so the whole 'only the 9s' thing is bull**** to me.

We should treat the 9s seriously. We need silverware of any kind. Desperately.

18 minutes is not much to ask for our team to be switched on.

That was a lethargic unstructured mess of a game.

It's Chad/Maloney in the halves for the NRL.
