It was a miracle Fifita didn't give away two penalties in the first five minutes. The guy who did really well in the first half was Holmes when the Roosters were the better side.

I dunno, the Roosters defense was still really solid. They made a bunch of mistakes, their hooker had a shocker and the sets they did complete were ruined by Pearce's kicking..... but they wouldn't have let in 30 points. 0_o

I got the vibe that Friend wasn't going to have a good game. He looked very uncomfortable when they were doing the coin toss. How long has he been captain for?

We were the better team against the Raiders, Titans (first round) and the Warriors and what happened: we lost.
So what if you feel the Roosters handed the win to us. We won and thats all that matters.
ENJOY THE WIN and stop analysing the krap out of it!!

The Roosters were lightening off their line the whole game. I thought we going down by 50 when Moa and Hargreaves were rampaging in the first half. The team never gave up in defence today unlike last week.
