I like this side. I can't believe Flanno won't start with the Fifita boys. The only change I would make would be to give Murphy a go at half. He seems to have some sort of kicking game. If Bird isnt ready yet I would put Robbo on the bench to cover halves and hooker.
Looking at the Roosters and Rabbitohs game today, we don't have a side that is currently in the same ball park. Unless we do something radical it is bye bye 2015. The halves we have at the moment are rubbish, the ball movement is crap.
I like this side, but we won't see it unfortunately.

The reality is we need to be bale to score some points. Without changing the halves combo the only way this will happen is if we do a few things.
1. Cut out stupid errors/dumb penalties.
2. Run STRAIGHT none of this sideways crap, we need the forwards going forward with quick play the balls
3. Play Gallen and D Fifita as starting props. (yes I Know Andrew is the better Player, bring him on as an impact player 20 minutes in fresh with some tired forwards.
4. We need Bird on the bench. he can come on and play as a 2nd 5/8th for 40 minutes of the game.
5. We need to have a ball playing fullback that means Holmes needs to be at fullback
6. Luke Lewis (or wade graham) plays in the middle of the field as a lock. I would swap Bird with Lewis (graham) and they can both be ball playing forwards.

I doubt Holmes will be playing this week. Saw him limping with a brace on his knee Saturday morning at their recovery session.
