In Sandows defense he has been ok this last year or so, the team around him has been average,

As much as I don rate sandow very highly, I actually think he would go alright in our team.
My first choice half to partner Barba would be Maloney
second would be Hodgkinson.
Both have good long kicking games and can organise well.
Sandow needs to be behind a big pack which can create room, has a few off loads in them and can protect him in defence. I really think we could adjust our side to suit his style if we can't get either of the first two.
700 K for Maloney or Hodgko 2-3 year Deals
500k for Sandow 2 year deal

It would be interesting to see how we would go with Barba and Sandow in the halves, with holmes at full back...untie their reigns and just let them play..we would have some high scoring games.

Everyone is talking about Barba being the live wire and while I don't dispute the he has also been showing a temperament for selective running and pristine timing of passes. A player like Sandow would take some pressure of Barba and perhaps let him evolve his game in a somewhat different direction

DCE jut said Manly offered him a deal he was going to accept last October but management changed and their revised offer was vastly inferior. So I don't feel sorry for them, in fact **** 'em.

I think its time to make Maloney a good offer now.
I think Mitchell Pearce will play himself back into the NSW # 7 on current form.
Taking into account the selectors preference for club combinations, Maloney will go along for the ride. His form is also very good.
His star will rise over the next 8 weeks, and so will his price tag.
He has what we need , lets make a move.
