So when Gal says the sharks only have 400-500k left in the cap to pay Barba, he means that's all the club is prepared to pay. On current form barba is only worth 400k.

beale will be a great signing if true, it's good to have jace back but I'm not to fussed on Stanley, has some talent but can't seem to put long enough stretches on the field to show some consistency
Hopefully adding barba to that list and I'd still like a cheap solid pig but overall it's been a good - decent recruitment drive considering where we were

Watched the international game today, barely noticed Kyle Stanley in attack to be honest, I think he mostly defended pretty well considering (Because he didn't get much assistance from his outside man Leilua, he had an absolute shocker). Nothing really screamed out to say that he'll be anything more than utility depth. It was a *meh* game.

Beale obviously earmarked to replace pretty boy, bakuya a bench option with potential for gal to move to prop as we are real light on in that department. Stanley as depth. Barba to 6.

The little I saw of it he looked like a guy that was playing out of position and a player who was concerned about getting hurt. It does not seem that he will bring much to the team, that an up and coming player who might have who has more potential.
Maybe he was just playing in a beaten team. could be another Oh Hum signings, and we have plenty of them so why bother.

Our local radio station was just doing a 'sports wrap up' where they have in a local sports store owner (who once captained balmain), the barba talk came up and the radio host mentioned barba has said he wants to honour his contract and force his way into the broncos 17?
Just relaying what i heard dont know about credibility though, the previous host touched up some kids then killed himself so who knows what goes on in there. Bridgey (sports store owner) believes barba is goin to cronulla so he was cuttin down everything the host said. Host could in fact be aaron (dosit)
