Just a thought:
In relation to Stewart signing with Souths, the rabbitohs may find themselves in a dilemma.
Stewart has signed with Souths and will only want to play Lock, their drama is do they attempt to move Sutton into Second Row, drop him to the bench or do they keep him in the halves as many are predicting.
Now, if Souths decide to keep Sutton in the halves to partner Reynolds they would have to drop Luke Keary to the bench or possibly NSW Cup, if that is the case I could not see why we should not throw a bit of coin his way, truth is he has the most potential out of any young halves in the game at the moment, a Carney and Keary combo would have potential to be one of the best (if not the best) halve combos in the game.
Was just a thought, would love to see him here!

Lots of talk in the media that Ben Te'o is on his way out. So Glenn to 2nd row and Sutton to lock Keary back to 5/8.

lots of talk about Teo returning to Brisbane up here in Brisbane... would be very unsurprising to see Teo back in the broncos colours

Glenn Stewart doesn't even play lock for Manly. He's always named in the 13 but he plays on the edge.

I dont understand the fascination on people with lock/2nd row being specific roles.

You have 2 edge forwards and 3 middle channel forwards. 2 props take up the middle and one of the back rowers play up the middle. With the other two backrowers playing on an edge.

It doesnt matter what ****ing number they have ffs.

Agree

Old school vs New School. In the old days your number usually meant you played a certain role especially in the forwards with the scrums those days are loooonnnnggggg gone.

ZERO TACKLE is saying Locke to England.

Surely Locke would be a better option than Benji. He'd be a great, running foil for Carney.
