Am i right in understanding we have 5-6 hrs of Sharks Footy on Foxtel Sat inc 20's and NSW CUP? Festival of the Boot indeed!

Disagree. Appointing a guy who was a pathetic first grade coach at his last attempt and who doesn't want to be a head coach. We were asking for trouble.

I'd venture that this was done out of financial limitation rather than lack of judgement. I don't imagine the club wanted to pay money to attract a coach that would only be there in a temporary sense - let's face it, the club was always going to re-hire Flanno.

I highly doubt sharp isn't that simplistic.

He's dumb and doesn't want it, but he isn't simply walking around doing nothing.

Flanno is back by the finals mate.

We won't make the finals, but we think that or know we would be 0-4. Why would someone come in for 26 rounds only to be kicked out when it matters?

Why not give a rookie like Kimmorley a go? Gives him an apprenticeship of sorts, wouldn't cost us much and he would have something to prove. It's better than having someone who doesn't want to do it and has always been a dud coach.

Whats the point?

Get him to come just before round 1 and completely change everything they've been working on all preseason?

It just isn't worth it when flanno is back in like 22 rounds.

The point is having someone as coach that actually wants to coach and has something to prove.

Flanno shouldn't be back at all IMO but at the very least not this season. While Sharp wouldn't be doing nothing I think it would have been better to appoint someone who has more drive for success.

Hopefully Grothe marks Manu, I know Grothe isn't known for his sound defensive reads but at least physically he's most equipped to handle him

I hope he has some extra padding around his Ribbs.

I'm sure some of the warriors forwards will get them a test if he plays.....

So based on the nsw cup team, every member of the side from last weekend survives? Are we only the club that rewards poor form and no effort? Sharp made a point about loyalty when he sacked Lichaa, why not make a point about players giving a **** and sacking a few this weekend?
It's bizarre.
