and im happy we play cowboys not newy. we lost not even 2 weeks before the finals game to them. winning would be the ultimate redemption. plus i hate newy so wouldmcry if we got knocked by em

Maybe I'm harsh mate, but in a pointless game for no gain, I thought precaution first.

Rugby League is a bit different to GayFL too, winning is more cultural in rugby league and has higher importance.

Great to see Gibbs get a Try as well! Avoid the nudie run even tho Ross just had to fall over the line

5th spot and ending on a positive for and against. A pretty good season then.

Tonight's game was sloppy by us but we stuck in there. Beau's try had a pass from Chad that was about a metre forward, thankfully it didn't cost the game to the Raiders.

Bring on next week!

Anyone remember Parramatta in 09 getting belted by 50 points by the goons one week before the finals in a dead rubber, then almost winning the comp?

was surprised to see beau score 6 tries this year, not bad given out attack and his injury.

yeah, people bag him, he has had 2 years running getting us into the 8. super coach aquired the exact team he wanted for the knights and snuck in this year and failed last year........

Who knows anyway, We may not have been able to play any more youngsters due to 2nd tier salary cap issues or whatever. I think if a player is fit, just play them. No point resting if a player doesn't need resting.

I do apologise for a bit of whining, I love Flanno, I'm glad we are in 5th. I wasn't aware at the time that we could finish in 5th and avoid newy.

I've got to agree awesome effort to finish 5th considering everything going on.
Great win to take some momentsnt into the finals.
