For me it stands out more when we play the elite teams. When we throw to the backline we never have enough decoys, or are deep enough and never create an extra man and it just grinds to a halt with our wingers having the ball half a metre in and with no where to go. Melbourne scored at will when they went wide and they immediately fall into their structures with everyone knowing their role. These things are coachable.
The South's game may have been different on a dry track and with an even penalty count because they either scored or were threatening every time they were in our twenty or when they shifted the ball. Flano as a coach is very limited on many levels.

Are you willing for him to improve on his deficiencies or you want him replaced. If you want him replaced by who?
I honestly don't think he can improve. He just doesn't get attacking football. Nor can he be trusted to nurture and improve talented youngsters. Look no further than the robson re-signing and the heighington contract. Who would you rather over the next two years, an aging heighno or bakuya entering his prime?
For all the kudos he gets for recruitment there is a significant downside as well.

Cant run out with an origin level team every week mate. Thats why there is a salary cap. Unfortunately thats what happens. The big contract of Todd Carney is going to play havoc on who we can sign. Tigers wanted to sign Blair to big money, they got rid of their sometimes bench player Fifita to free up space. 18 months later, he plays origin. Its going to happen more often than not. Now that the star halfback/ 5/8 is pretty much the team quarter back in terms of salary, there is going to be some lambs sacrificed to get the star signing.
As for Peachey, brilliant player, but way to small to be in our pack, has to be a utility.
But who is out there that is better? Might be a case of better the devil you know.
Not when the devil will never win you a premiership and actually thinks robson is a first grader. Trial and error. I think nathan brown would be a good fit.
You mean a coach who had a side nearly full of rep players and still couldn't win the big one, if you want a coach that know how to bring in the young players id bring in sheens
Yeah, the same coach that's come along way since then. Isnt sheens the coach that thought adam blair was a better investment than fifita and gibbs?
I'm talking about a coach developing the young talent like you said
Why that may be true he did bring them through thoughsheens let a young talent go.
if i had to take a coach, i would take brad arthur
Is our photocopier broken? Thought our team would of been named by now
