hey guys,
do you think our 2013 team would beat our 2001 team,
I think this years sharks team is good enough to win us our first ever premiership, who else agrees

Why bother arguing over two pieces of ****?

Our 2009 side would easily crush both of them.

well....
this years team would win and heres why.

the defensive game is so much better these days. with the wrestle, and the dominance in the ruck and the structures in place..and the size of the players etc.

I thought it was because of how old the 01 team is now.

Why the 2001 team bullshark? Is that the year the doggies cheated and were stripped of all their points so you had to find another team to follow?

the Bulldogs were stripped of their points in 2002 for cheating the salery cap,
2001 was the year the sharks flogged the dogs in a semi final.
perhaps the early 2000's are a bit b4 your time.

I give it to the 2001 team myself,
In saying that our current team would beat them but its a different era,

Dykes = Carney,
He was the one that made that team GREAT.
Not saying that Carney will not surpass Dykes.

I was a big fan of McKenna, gotta love the Hymie
i was a massive fan of his. I loved watching McKenna long and graham when they were in the backrow. McKenna was a great wide running back rower before the switch into the centres. Can't compare McKenna to heighno. Two different style of players

Yep Nick Graham was a natural footy player, had a lot of game sense
