We gave that game away. Learn how to hold the ball. J.Wright, M.Wright, J.Robson and J.Morris are our weaklinks.... Game was gone when Lewis went off.

naaaaaaaaaaaaaaah you don't say?

I have no problem with that game it had everything in it just wish we could have been on the upper hand.
We need practice with attacking kicks

Agreed think carney should've bombed for j wright as hes a good jumper but mainly went to Beau...attack was a tad lateral at times esp when gal gets in the way at times...

I can live with that.

Was a bit unsure of when beau was tackled by merrit when beau was still in the air, when the cross kick came?

Did I miss something I thought that was a penalty?

How did the refs **** it? Tell me mate.

The Souths scrum feed from the ball doing out? Not played at. Beau tackling Merrit in the air by the head?

Or what about the 2 tries disallowed for obstruction. Alot of refs would blow it a try and forget about it.

The two that annoyed me where that Goodwin did play at the grubber at the end there. We shpuld have gotten the ball back with a full set in an attacking position

The other one that annoyed me was Merrits blantant tackle in the air against Ryan. As you said Ryan did the same to Merrit a couple of minutes before but that is what really annoys me about it. They penalise the Sharks for tackling in the air but when the Rabbits do it too us in the same spot just a little later they skop it... Argh.

Actually - I didn't expect to win this game & was surprised how close it was.

You guys do realise souffs are a top side this year?

I take a truckload of positives out of this game:

We threw the ball around & had some exciting attack - problems with ball control shouldn't be a surprise in this environment - these guys have had limited time together. I know for a fact I posted pre-season that it would take time for cohesion to occur.

We didn't fall in a heap.

We managed GI fairly well considering.

We only lost by 2 against a top 4 side without our regular FG coach in a far less than ideal mental state.

I was pissed off at a lot of our plays & some of our players at some stages - but in reality I'm proud of all of the boys tonight.

For those complaining about beau being tackled in the air. Defenders are allowed to tackle players in the air but not the other way round. However I think it should of been a scrum on the ten or a hand over if it was the last and bit a 20 tap. Also Stapleton is still > j wright!

Considering everything that is going on there is no shame in that loss. Unfortunately without the disruptions i think we would have easily won but i am now very confident we will put a big score on the warriors.

M Wright has to go. We need some strike power in the centres.

Need Gardner in there somehow

I didn't expect us to win tonight, less so after being 12-0. After about 60 minutes I'd given up hope of us coming back and had accepted the loss. It was a heart breaker, but the heart break could have been a lot worse.

Besides the fact we couldn't hold onto the ball in the first half, I thought we played well. Beau's try was a plus, thought he'd get run down in the end.

Souths should be a top side this year and we pushed them.

Positive about losing by two, our F/A is now zero.

Unfortunately, our unbeaten run to our grand final victory ended tonight :p
