Can't fault our effort but we just lack polish when attacking inside 20 metres, not just today but in general. Can't see us giving the premiership a realistic shake until we sort this out. Wright was solid as usual but we really need more from fullback in attack, we desperately need a fullback capable of playing as a second 5/8.

Wade Graham has to start when we're at full strength, how we do this I don't know. Either Bukuya starts from the bench or Gal plays prop and Ross goes to the bench. Don't know but Graham's form is too good to be on the bench.

Dragons looked like us most years when we treat that game as our grand final. They played great. Most weeks we'd win that even with the interrupted preparation, but Dragons were too enthusiastic.

Yeah the only positive I see is we're still playing well below what we are capable of. We've got a lot of improvement left in us, if we can bring it back. Agree about Wright, good player, but we desperately need Gardner at the moment.

the call from video ref regarding the incident before the merrin try is discraceful!!!

he pulls the ball marginally forward towards our line then it bounces back.. our players pause for a moment ref yells play on merrin bursts through and walla...
at 12-10 with about 10 to go we were a real chance...

the pass to toups was just forward should have gone for single pump instead of double!! woulda go the try...

damn we need jez n gal back we were not hitting and sticking in tackles and missed the metres the boys wouldve gained big time...

hate losing to merrrrrrge!!!!

If you're talking about Cooper then I disagree, I thought it was line ball and happy for that to be play on.

We have scored only 4 tries in 2 games against sides that are not in the 8. Yuk. I realize that St Gearge are a strong defensive side but we had more than enough chances to post several tries. When Carney drifts he seems to lack a good angled runner. I'm sure we will sort this out and start running amok shortly. Ever the optimist!

Wade deserves jaces spot. Jace started the year well but teams have figured him out. Will add good impact

IMO that game was a complete stitch up. They score off a forward pass and knock on in one set. We get penalised for two line balls. Carney throws a **** pass and they get an intercept try. No way were they the better team.

I was impressed by Tafua and his unexpected offloads.
Unfortunately we look stock standard pedestrian in our attack.
Can someone explain to the kicking coach that the idea is not to kick to the oppostion on the full and for
God's sake we need some guys to step up and get involved - e.g. Gordon
That's enough ranting from me...

I think neither of our halves can really control a game. Robson is better than Graham at it so gave the impression they with him in the team we have a leader, but he's leading us around as much as Carney now. Both are playing like 5/8's that only want to get involved for the big play. I'm not happy with either of their form lately.

This game shows me that we need some outside backs not another back rower.

I'm proud of the boys, they fought hard and turned the game when a lot of teams would have fallen on their faces. Saints were allowed to lay all over us in the play the ball and as soon as we tried to slow things down we were penalised.

I'm normally a Robson fan but I think he had a bit of a shocker tonight.

Watching this game made me know we will be a force in the finals if we have our best players playing. IMO we outplyed them for the most but lacked the finishing touch ie Brett Morris

Loved seeing Isaac Gordon in broken play, we stick with him and he'll show his worth

Townsend would be ****ing handy right about now.

**** yeah he would be ! flano will never do it but

we really badly needed gordon , carney still looks like he is swamped as every team knows he is our only attacking weapon

You need a new set of glasses.
Not only was that a knock on but the next pass to Merin was also forward.

Maybe I do but that's just the way I saw it. I would have been livid if it was our try being disallowed in that instance.
