Hahaha, Tyrone Peachey for fullback would be AWESOME. Please please please let it happen.

It sounds so wrong yet so right. He's not a back but I think he'd have really good support play, has experience at 5/8 so can play in the line when required, and I think has a fairly elusive running game with good tackle bust ability.

Wouldn't have a clue what he's like under the high ball or any of the other important fullback skills but just seeing 1 - Peachey would be so awesome hahaha.

haha, when you put it like that.

reminds of of NRL on the wii, i had gards go down mid game with an injury, and i put tagataese at fullback.

best kick returns ever! hahah

wonder what he is like under the highball.

for mine though, if we cant recruit in the week, its pickerd or wright.

As much as i hate him, How good would it be to hear Rabs yelling

"PEACHEY! PEACHEY IS BLARING DOWN THE SIDE LINE"

Id actually be really happy with giving Peach a run there.

As long as he can work on his "putting the ball down just before the dead ball line" skills I'm all for it.

It's funny and sounds insane but the more I think about the way he runs in broken play it could just work if he can catch a high ball. I'm not sure how fast he is either for cover defense obviously.

He really does run like a stocky shorter version of THE peach.

Nathan Massey scored three tries v the Vulcans. Good player. Omar Slaimankhel or Inu from the Warriors. All three fullback options that we could easily upgrade and tie up for the future and would actually add to the team on offence.

Best idea youve had for a while flanno basher!

Hearing Peachey to fullback made me laugh, but when you put it like that it kinda makes sense. He would have a Ben Barba (when he first came into the NRL) type impact I reckon with the support play from the back.

I'd still go for Pickerd/Wright though.

I think he has a similar slippery running style to Ben Barba.

First Graham is mentioned, now Peachey. There needs to be some banning.

Everyone else being available, I would have picked Stapo, then Gordon, but it sounds like neither will be ready.

I would love to see Flanno pick Pickerd, as even though the Parra game will be dangerous and is by no means a certain win, it is certainly on the better end of opportunities to blood a new player especially when many alternatives are injured. The 2 reasons I think Flanno wont is because I remember him saying he thought Gards was too small and he probably wouldnt have given him the opportunity that Ricky did. Pickerd would be around about Gards size you'd imagine so that doesn't bode well. Add to that we should have Mills so Wright will probably just shift over and get a real opportunity, which is not ideal but not the end of the world.

I would be all for signing Luke Burt. Really solid player who would add alot to our backline and be a genuine fullback cover. However is this just a wish on this forum or is there an actual rumour there?

Matt Wright is to mistake prone close to the line, to risky for me.

Pickard is the way to go. Got spend, great step and defuse a high ball.

Inglis is way bigger.

But yeah he'd be slow. I would like to know the difference in speed between him and Matt Wright though. Peachey would be way faster in traffic that's for sure.
