Didn't quite come out the way i wanted it too. But not too bad, Gal led the way in mtrs again, Mannah on par with Douggie well done!

What about Wright? I was right to say he had a great game after all. 92 meters in how many minutes?

Lost at sea.
i am in stuck fremantle for work for 3 months with a few other lads from the east who are all NRL followers, and when we 1st got here four weeks ago they bagged me 24/7 for getting around in my sharks singlet and my polo with the usual grief and slack you cop for being a proud sharkie. but now, haha when we were are at the local here(asking for NRL in perth is like asking for the cure to cancer) they are all on the sharkies bandwagon screaming at tv everytime we stomp over the line! i love seeing everyone get in on our return to the game and they have all stated they are now a bit worried about facing us which i have not heard in a LONG overdue TIME!!!!!
GIT UP EM SHARKIES!!!!!!

Hey reckon you're right Oozy. The confidence these guys played with again tonight looks to be rattling the confidence of the opposition team. Hope it keeps going. Nice to yell at the tv in a good way the last couple of weeks.:good:

sweet . i think flanman must be on to something.
you live and die by your decisions though.
our D looks more menacing than ive ever seen it.

I do wince however, every time the ball gets serious height
and gards has to come away with it.
especially when teams are bombing our line from 30-40 mtrs
out.
as i posted in the Gardner thread, give the guy some
supplementary support, williams did it once tonite
which was pleasing.
i know the guy is fantasmic, but everyone has an
Achilles heel yeah.?

i honestly feel if we can get our Aerial game in check,
we will be more of a force in this years comp.:glasses-cool:
heres hoping.

Absolutely brilliant game by the boys! Words can't express my feelings tonight. Back to back wins and the way we did it - Wow! 8 tries in a game is a monumental effort.

We did have a bit of a sleep there attack wise from the 55th to the 70th minute but we were well in front and Penrith were just awful.

Terrible decision by Elliott to play Tahu. There is no way he is match fit and he was an easy target.

Toops is starting to regain the form he had at the Roosters and Nathan Gardener is really something special. He was safe under the high ball, he bobbed up everywhere and boy is he strong! How he continually beats defenders twice his size I don't know. And it is sheer strength - he pushes them off and shrugs off the tacklers.

Our whole pack again showed why they are a force to be reckoned with and given some space our backline does have some pace. Poms was again very solid and busted some easy tackles. Our halves will get better and better and John Williams actually impressed me with his strength and goal kicking. The only player I am still not sold on is Matt Wright but why change a winning team. He just seems to get caught out a bit and he seems quite slow, considering everyone was raving about his pace when we first bought him.

Let's hope the press give us a bit of credit now. I am sure they will still be cautious and not give us any hope but maybe that's what we need, not to be talked up all the time.

The next two games will be tough against the Warriors in NZ and then at home against Manly. If we can knock those sides over as well, we are in for a good season people!

Similar sentiments , well broached .
Star and flag :good:

A thought for all Sharks fans to consider... if you were to consider a set of results data and to try to apply a trend you'd invariably come up with what is termed in statistics as "an anomaly" ... it is the statistic that doesn't fit.

There are those detractors of the Sharks who would assign our recent success as anomalies,

I understand that anomolies exist in observational data.

And whats better, when i was in the city at the a nightclub, the sharks panthers replay was on. i was cheeeeering
Im seeing closet sharkies/ bandwagon sharkies starting to come out
GO THE SHARKS!

Also, what a pathetic crowd on the panthers part. Well done to all sharkies that made the trek, we nearly out numbered them
