I'd be extremely satisfied if Ricky and Fergo went ASAP. How long is Mills contracted for?
...has activated a clause in his contract that should coach Ricky Stuart leave, he too could walk.
''I want to win a premiership, and also with the things going on in the club, the uncertainty, I just want to be in a stable place where I can concentrate on winning a title, that is what is in my heart,''
You are not ready to play centre, even Ricky can see that. You can't pass, you can't draw and pass, you don't position yourself in support, and you can't offload in a tackle.Stuart was instrumental in Ferguson's development, but aside from the coaching shake-up the club's uneasy financial position is another factor in his decision, along with his desire to play in the centres.
This is just a bull**** excuse. The club is stable, he just wants more $$$ and to get a soft ride into a premiership.''I want to win a premiership, and also with the things going on in the club, the uncertainty, I just want to be in a stable place where I can concentrate on winning a title, that is what is in my heart,'' Ferguson told the Herald. ''It is nothing personal, I do have an emotional attachment to the club. I just want to win.''
Good to hear. The move by Ferguson has caused a massive stir at the Sharks, with incoming coach Shane Flanagan storming out of a meeting with the player after being told his intentions this week.
My broader concern is the risk of other Player managers using this as a precedent for their players to leave the team utilising the "Sticky" clause.
We don't need managers pressuring players off the field, we still have too many issues on the field !
