Yeah, I thought Josh and Sam sounded grateful, some of it was probably a little tongue in cheek. Perhaps they could have been a bit more excited about it but I'm sure they're grateful.
Yeah and it’s better then that, because at that sort of coin, it would be the premier front if jersey sponsorship. There's a chance fans got a head of themselves... but if we announced a new 5 year, $5 mill sponsorship everyone would be doing cartwheels.
And if we use it well it could not only better position us but appeal to them to be open to other support in the future.Yeah and it’s better then that, because at that sort of coin, it would be the premier front if jersey sponsorship.
It’s a very welcome and generous amount, but not so much that we over rely on it and still have to work hard and smart in all areas. I imagine it was a very strategic amount.
I had people telling me this morning how good the ground looked on tv, so I guess it’s the eye of the beholder. Personally I like it fine. It’s unique… power lines, hotel, club, apartments…. Nowhere else like it.Hard to argue with the sentiment of the below from the other forum .
New Leagues Club sort of looks out of place and perhaps could of been a storey higher ?
Buz mentioned on a podcast that the older existing stands are getting dilapilated too.

Watching on tv last night and I’ve gotta be honest. The eastern side looks absolutely terrible. I get we sold our soul to survive but at no point has the stadium aesthetics been considered. A hotel and whatever is to the left of the PB have literally just been thrown in the space. The staircases which are ugly AF just seem to go to nowhere and are huge.
I just can’t see how it’s ever really going to get better and I am embarrassed by it. We will be left behind rapidly. Anyway we survived I suppose
Fair Call ,I had people telling me this morning how good the ground looked on tv, so I guess it’s the eye of the beholder. Personally I like it fine. It’s unique… power lines, hotel, club, apartments…. Nowhere else like it.
The leagues club will look better too when the rooftop terrace is done… that’s why it looks low currently.
I agree. I was there last night and I saw nothing wrong with the view at all.I had people telling me this morning how good the ground looked on tv, so I guess it’s the eye of the beholder. Personally I like it fine. It’s unique… power lines, hotel, club, apartments…. Nowhere else like it.

They shouldn't be building more toilets....Everyone ****in bitching about whats being done and not being done. None of those ****s are paying for it.
Build the ****n leagues club bigger for what? For more space not being used?
Deals done pre-covid, of course **** got more expensive just like everything else. How is anyone at the club to blame for that??
****in sick of the negative ****s with nothing good to say about it. Short memories, if all this **** didnt happen, the sharks were gone years ago, probably before they won the premiership. Thats how ****ed the club was. It was this or die.
Who needs emThey shouldn't be building more toilets....
U know my mother in law I see.Lol less I say here the better but the lack of appreciation doesn't surprise me. Could give some people absolutely everything it still wouldn't be enough

Obviously they couldn't see on tv the ridiculously long queues at half time for a drink or a piss or even worst when you needed both .I had people telling me this morning how good the ground looked on tv, so I guess it’s the eye of the beholder. That's always been the case there, though. Same with most suburban grounds I find.Obviously they couldn't see on tv the ridiculously long queues at half time for a drink or a piss or even worst when you needed both .

Another reason I love Parra Stadium. So easy to do everything there.
Have a mate that used to take an empty 2L soft drink bottle for that very reason.Cos Parra fans piss in the seats
Yeah I don't know how we solve these.Obviously they couldn't see on tv the ridiculously long queues at half time for a drink or a piss or even worst when you needed both .
