I'm currently on Kayo courtesy of a friends Sydney Kings membership. Hoop those balls, Kings! Give them the foam finger!! 🤘

We signed up pre price hikes though.

I'd feel dirty supporting any other team financially even if it were helping me financially.

Obviously a brilliant way to sell memberships though.

Its definitely missing a trick. Leaguies buying memberships to random AFL clubs is a terrible thing. AFL will then use those inflated membership numbers to their advantage. God forbid some poor sub 85 IQ folks actually get roped into the Melbourne cult & start rotting their brains further on behinds & speccies & singlets.

The ONLY thing I am hesitant about is the compulsory AUTO - RENEWAL
Who would you have to bail out from to stop it ( IF unfavourable next year )
The AFL Club I imagine ?
How hard might that be ?

All members set up on the automatic rollover will have the opportunity to opt out at the end of each season.
The two main ways to opt out of the automatic renewal are by returning your renewal form to the club with the opt-out box ticked, or online via your MyMagpies Account.
For the 2022 season, opt-out requests must be received prior to 5:00pm (AEDT) on Friday 15 October.

AFL is known to send men to your house with crowbars to convince you otherwise.

I canceled Kayo in the offseason, then they sent a 12 month $15 a month offer to re-sign last month which I took.

Probably too close to the season start to get any offer out of them now by cancelling, but I got in the habit of cancelling as soon as the finals were done every year. I only get value out of the NRL on Kayo, the sooner the game just produces its own TV the better.

Jumped on the GWS bandwagon for my 12 month Kayo membership at $250.

Worth it I guess.

I also “signed up” for a bunch of free addons.

Have absolutely zero idea as to what these “addons” give me

Opted to GWS.
I was gonna hit up Hawthorn.
Coz I’m strangely a supporter.
But the price was $30 more.

Weirdly had a random dream one night about 10 years ago and Hawthorn was the mob I was barracking for.
