Real estate mogul Brod Wright. They showed him on the news recently. Funny they didn't mention or show anything from his sharks career.
Must not have been for anything dodgy then? Would have mentioned it for sure

Jarrad Anderson. Cost us Matt King cause his dad kept picking him.

Good call on Jarrad. However, while I agree the Anderson family was a disaster (losing Preston hurt us pretty bad), I'm not sure King would have been anything special with us.
I look at him as another perfect example of the Storm system where ordinary players look like a million bucks.
I know he played representative football, but so did Richard Villasanti or Steve Turner just to name a few. I don't know, maybe I'm being too harsh, but I'm not convinced.

david simmons

massive pussy and cost us the peach
Simmons was a funny cat, for sure. He was like the Pete Sampras of footballers in personality.
Had a quick Wiki and saw he represented City once and finished the 2013 NRL season as the leagues equal leading try scorer for the regular season! Snuck in a few decent stats along an almost entirely forgettable career.

Was an OK winger and had a few good games at centre. As @samshark said though, the whole "groomed to take Peachey's spot" thing never panned out, and the fans definitely didn't like seeing Peach not finish his career at the Sharks.

Replacing a peach with a lemon was never going to go over well really.

Okay, a bit unfair on Simmo, but he was in the shop quite a bit. Probably put the brakes on a more successful career.

From memory Simmo took a bit to warm into the physicality of League too?
Wouldn't survive as a modern winger
