Ya reckon the English royals might have made the trip if it was the men's final?
I didn’t read the article so this could be BS or me misunderstanding but I saw something saying we haven’t officially invited the king yet and none of the other royals can come before he has been here

Not sure I’d call it bottled (you love using that word! :) ) losing only 1-0 in a final is not that bad an effort.

England were red hot favourites. European champions and having only lost once in the past 38 games (to Australia in London a few months back) I wouldn’t go as far as to say it was theirs to lose. There were a bunch of fantastic teams this tournament, but Spain, as good as they are, are in turmoil, they had no business going as good as they did with all the distractions they had.

England bottled it for mine.

Spain were favourites mate.

Holy **** your right. I apologise everyone, I stand corrected. Wow thats stunning to me. With England’s amazing almost undefeated record and Spain’s turmoil, I thought for sure England were heavy favourites. I wonder why they weren’t.

I’ll still say England bottled it though. 😏

Seriously, these types of dinosaurs need to be sacked. Get them out of the game.

Spain midfielder Jenni Hermoso has spoken of how uncomfortable she felt when she was kissed on the lips by Spanish football federation president Luis Rubiales after their World Cup final victory in Sydney.

As the 33-year-old veteran, who had a second-half penalty saved by Mary Earps, made her way to the podium to receive her winner’s medal from FIFA president Gianni Infantino, 45-year-old Rubiales hugged her and lifted her off her feet. There was then brief exchange of words before Rubiales put his hands around Hermoso’s back and planted a kiss on her lips.
