Pretty sure he said he took the Catalans deal because he refused to play against the roosters.

He also said he didn't want to block Tuks way into first grade so would be pretty ironic if he did some how end up here

It's a lot of money to spend on your centres... going to have to sacrifice somewhere else.

Also, a lot of money to spend on someone who'll be 31 years old before next season (which also goes for Canberra/Dolphins).

Maybe. Could just be the situation getting in his head too. I reckon those couple of months where Adam Reynolds was in contract limbo were the worst footy he has ever played. Came good once the uncertainty was behind him.

Mate I would never pay for it. I also would not give him a 4 year deal. 3 Max. 2 would be the smart one.

He isn't an organising half where it makes sense that age can be a benefit. The way he plays he will likely not be great the last two years of his contract.

Don't let the big Wighton/RTS news of the day distract you from the fact that Fox/Daily Telegraph are reporting the obvious fake rumour that Wests Tigers are looking to sign Amone and Schuster.

Melbourne are growing increasingly confident that forward powerhouse Nelson Asofa-Solomona is ready to commit to the club.

Asofa-Solomona, off contract at the end of the year, has been the subject of a big-money bid by the Dolphins.

He has also been in the sights of rugby union, both in Australia and across the Tasman. However, the Storm believe that big Nelson is on the verge of committing his future to the club in what would be a huge boost.

As for Wighton, release every player we have and pay him whatever he wants to play in the halves for us so we can finally shift Nicho to centre and start winning some games

Have to say i reckon Tass is a bit of a door stop for AJ , backline moves to the left often seem to stall at Tass , he's only 23 games in so i'm sure there's improvement , but not for me .
