Jack Wighton has retired from rep football... given how much Freddie loves him, Nicho's Origin stocks just went up.

Didn't see it coming but makes a lot of sense. There's a bunch of young guys knocking on his Origin door, he'll want to focus on helping the Raiders win a title and it'll probably help him get a few more bucks as he'll be playing for them more (or was that deal done?).

Besides Nicho does anyone here think anyone else in our squad will be apart of the origin squads?

Only bloke I see being a stretch would be Talakai. But after his performances last year I don’t see him getting a call up again.
Maybe Dale or Mcinnis if desperate for bench forwards due to injuries

He and his best man don’t really care about footy but **** me. Plenty of blow ups already from some boys.

This is the real answer.

The 8 home teams share the booty.

No idea on recent years, but a report from 2019 says that each of the "home" teams received $270k.
If that is the case, then happy enough (as long as we win).
$200-$250k in the bank is more than what we would get for a home game
I would imagine that would be all Profit to!!

Yeah. It was $270k in the pocket.

They estimated that the Titans that week would have made $50-60k for a normal home game.

What is the point of this stat?
Just who touches the ball most. It provides context for other stats such as errors etc. If someone has 30 errors and the other 15, that pushes one type of thought about the player. When you find out that first player has 1000 receipts and the last one only 20, that completely flips the thought around.
