Where did he look good?He was great tonight. Looked confident to, easily his best game of the year.
On the kicking comments, it's clearly not his role next to Nicho. He can kick if Nicho gets caught on 5th, but outside of that the plan is clearly for him not to.
When he played alongside Tricky he was kicking far more regularly, as clearly the plan was different.
I'd judge this to mean the coach is telling him to let Nicho take charge in this area.
I thought he ran the ball well, engaged the line and looked likely to challenge. I have no doubt that this contributed to the space our left edge started seeing at the back end of the game.Where did he look good?
Barely saw him in the first half except for that lucky try.

He definitely has been in games this year at times. But he was good last night.Likely to challenge?
The bloke is done. The fact that he's had 3 try assists and 2 line breaks in 7 games shows he's a passenger.
That's not a fact as we've only played 6 gamesThe fact that he's had 3 try assists and 2 line breaks in 7 games shows he's a passenger.

Yep that's it. I want Tricky in the team but you have to admit when Moylan plays well. Don't be blind. He definitely has been in games this year at times. But he was good last night.
I'd be as happy as anyone to see Tricky get the shot there, but that doesn't mean I have to ignore when Moylan plays well.
I have no doubt Nicho is becoming a better half faster by having Moylan out there with him. He's not there to wrack up a highlights reel, he's there to support Nicho and take the reigns if things go off the rails then hand then back when all's good. I think there's a lot of the value having a pretty wiley old stager like Moylan with Nicho.Likely to challenge?

It's what he's been doing in game sometimes, for better or worse. A lot less this year thankfully. No-one is under any illusions that Moylan is a Munster.Take the reigns? Did that well in the finals last year.
Did even better against the Warriors, Rabbits and Raiders.

The point was that he has a job out there and it's more to help Nicho be the best he can be. Imho
Nah I'm with you, Moylan taking the reigns doesn't bode well for the team. All good mate, I guess we see Moylans input differently.
It's not really a debate, more pointing out that's what's happening. Sometimes Nicho gets a bit lost, which you'd totally expect at this stage of his halfback career.Nah I'm with you, Moylan taking the reigns doesn't bode well for the team.

But, I agree. If Moyza is taking the reigns it means Nicho's off his game. That's not good for the team. If people are bagging Moyza for bit getting involved then things are going as they should
