AFAIK, Hannay is the attack coach and we are fine there. But we are an open highway when it comes to defense.
Yep attack isn't an issue.

Can't keep picking Teig/Golden Child/Sifa on the left, at least one needs to go. We'll just keep leaking tries otherwise.

My whole gripe. Making up forna **** call with another **** call. It might make warriors fans happy but is that the game we want?

It's beyond a joke, at some point a player's going to completely lose his cool and abuse a Ref because the idiot in the bunker has sent him off to make up for a mistake he's made earlier. I'm honestly waiting for it to happen.

Can't recall a ref going back that far in the tackle count to give a penalty, absolutely disgraceful from the bunker.

Also if it's possible to go that far back, why does the time not get put back on the clock?

The message at half time from Fitz was to not make errors, make their tackles, keep the pressure on and not give the Warriors a sniff

Yes I am serious this is what Fox commentator said

I think we have become what the Warriors used to be (flashy but flaky) and the Warriors are becoming a bit of what the Sharks used to be - a team with a bit of guts willing to hang in and scrap for the win against all odds even if they arn't always perfect. We arn't always perfect either but we seem to have lost that steely resolve and willingness to fight and tough it out.

I'm concerned about Fitz too Gumby but some of our players need to pull their fingers out too - especially after alot of them have been given contract extensions it's not the best way to repay the faith

Individual errors in tough conditions with the opposition coming out firing and putting you under pressure - yep it happens but you need to defend those errors and that's where we really are coming undone. Otherwise if you can't defend, well hey fellas spose we shouldn't make too many errors then

I just want to go back to @CrazyMatt and his comments before on this thread about how we are Cronulla and we just have a history of losing unlosable games and ****ing things up when we have built up a lead. Or losing to a team that we should easily beat.

I've been a long time supporter and I know where he is coming from. But the puzzling thing is that we have a coach who comes from a club with a winning culture. We have a number 7 and our chief playmaker and best player that also comes from a club with a winning culture as does our on field captain in the 13 jumper.

So how do this **** continue with those three running the show?

If you want to take it further and look at our CEO and Chairman, those two fellows also seem to be winners.

What is it that makes us Cronulla and lose games that we shouldn't?

I'd love to hear people's opinions on this.

We probably underestimate our opposition and are overly confident.

The Warriors played really well and we made a lot of unforced errors in our half. That was the difference.
We could blame Moylan, Ronnie, Talakai or a half dozen blokes specifically, but we were two evenly matched teams and we gave away the ball at the wrong times more than they did.

Get that stuff out of our game and we're beating most teams (whether we should or not) and going very deep into the finals each year.

Some clubs in world sport just have those characteristics in their DNA, no matter who plays or coaches them. Just how sport works I’m afraid, one of the those unexplainable quirks that you find in sports. We’ve had it for over 50 years, just one thing ive grown to accept as a Sharks supporter.

We are the Dallas Cowboys/New York Knicks of the NRL.

I like to not overthink it... you make stupid errors, you put yourself under pressure.

We make plenty of stupid errors.

The players who make the errors and poor discipline to lead to losing a won game are either still in the team or been replaced with some equally as efficient in poor handling in discipline.

Any club that doesn’t do the simple things will always be punished. Evident by Melbourne being spanked by the Bulldogs at home only a couple of weeks back.

Agreed. We are a talented, dumb footy team.

We make too many stupid mistakes every week – play the ball errors, piggy back penalties, etc.

It's death by a thousand cuts, with the occasional brain explosion for good measure. (Ramien refusing to just take the tackle and almost losing us the Eels game, for example.)

I think we'd be better off with one or two less naturally gifted, more game smart players in the overall mix.
