Pretty easy to keep the basis of the team together given so many are secured for 2025 already.
The likes of Dykes, Stonestreet, Iro, Trindall and the next crop of forwards should get ample opportunity over next couple years to get some NRL games under their belts until they take over.

2023/2024/2025/2026

1. Kennedy/Kennedy/Kennedy/Dykes
2. Katoa/Katoa/Katoa/Stonestreet
3. Ramien/Ramien/Ramien/Ramien
4. Talakai/Talakai/Iro/Iro
5. Mulitalo/Mulitalo/Mulitalo/Mulitalo
6. Moylan/Moylan(&trindall)/Trindall/Puru
7. Hynes/Hynes/Hynes/Hynes
9. Brailey/Brailey/Brailey/Brailey(&youngster to take over)
11. Nikora/Nikora/Nikora/Nikora
12. Wilton/Wilton/Wilton/Wilton
13. Finucane/Finucane/Colquhoun/Colquhoun

14. McInnes/McInnes/McInnes/???

17. Graham/Williams/Talakai/Talakai

6 I've guesstimated Trindall takes over from Moylan part way through year 2024 then leaves to play 7.
8/10/15/16 Props it just felt too hard - likes of Hazelton, Tapuha, Bradbury, Fearney, Finau and more pressuring up from underneath
Finucane demoted to bench middle 2025 (or maybe starter still but less minutes)
Sorry to Snowy about the 9. Can't imagine we can afford to upgrade and he is already signed.

Only guys I have a 25 or beyond jersey to that aren't signed for at least 2025 is Dykes, Hynes, Colquhoun & Wilton. All of whom I'd expect us to extend, some imminently.

Of course, circumstances and situations change so anyone could drop off in next few years for whatever reason also.

If we are talking form, I'd have Kennedy, Ronnie, Wilton, Nikora, and Hynes all top 5 this year. Assuming left and right edge second rowers are seperated, otherwise just Nikora.
Wilton is a stretch so far for this year but the others you could probably say for sure.. I worry about them keeping it up at that level we’ve seen them get there but then it wades away

Let’s hope they now know what it takes to stay there

I guess that's why I said edge dependent. I'd easily have him in the top 5 left edge second rowers, but probably not the top 5 second rowers over all. The best part is if they maintain this form, they are all on unders and locked up.

This is true…
Fingers crossed, I’m doubtful but would love to be wrong

I feel like Wilton is a poor mans Capewell. Put in the work with Teig and he could turn into a solid first grader. But i'm not sure he will reach origin.

“Ideally I’d love to be here for the rest of my career then I’d like to go straight into coaching… Give me a 20-year contract Sharks!”

“Yea I do (have ambitions to be a coach), big time, I’ve always said I wanted to be a coach, I just love it,” Hynes added.

“I love helping people out, I love helping young kids realise their dreams, so hopefully one day I can be a coach to hand a debut jersey, that’s the ultimate (dream) for me, I’d love to do that.

“I’ve always told Fitzy (Craig Fitzgibbon) that and every time he makes a stressful call he looks at me and say, ‘Do you still want to be a coach?’.

“But obviously you have to start somewhere and I could be a development coach, then into an assistant, then one day work my trade and become a head coach, that would be nice.

“I know I have to start somewhere and if I could an assistant at NRL level our a development coach, I’d be happy to do that but coaching is for me.”

Tieg will need to put his cock in a hole in the wall, without knowing who is on the other side, to really have made it.

Lol, Capewell isn't even that good.
Teig will be on Par with Cordner by the time he retires.

Interesting.

Did you ever think Capewell would be playing origin? Doubt it.

I actually don't rate Cordner. If the question was who is one of the most overrated players to have played the game, Cordner is right up there.

Yeah. Don’t agree.
I think Capes is a very decent player and was disappointed to see him go.

If Teig reaches or betters Capes, then we have an exceptional edge player.
and then one on each edge as Nikora is starting to excel as well

Put me in that Panthers team and I'd play for Queensland.

Not saying he's terrible, he's just a mid-tier backrower at best.
