For sure. He's a big reason why everything is working so well.
Do Penrith fans hate him? I think they did, but still? I'd like to think so.

I think after winning a couple premierships post Maloney/Moylan swap season they prob don't care as much. Moylan usually plays pretty well against Panthers for whatever reason

It was actually a decent hit up for a half until he got held upright and outmuscled. Needed to find the ground.
Still, I think a lot of players would be impressed to see their half willing to run into the thick like that instead of throwing to them flatfooted.
They'd probably still say 'next time give it to me' though

Good on ya Mozza taking a tough carry into the defense!
gets carried over sideline
WTF are you doing Matt you ****ing mong! :D

I don't know why our 5/8 was taking hitups (he could have just passed it if nothing was doing though not always a good idea passing around your own danger zone) but I actually really liked it, him taking responsibility and giving some other players a breather.

He didn't look worried or overly hesitant about doing it either which says to me he has confidence in his body from the strength and durability side and that is a very good sign. No way he takes a straight run like that into a defensive wall a few seasons ago. He would usually skip about or go to ground.

He look ripped in the change room pre-game

How good will it be if he can be even better than he was in 2023

Hahaha yep I had to laugh at that play, il give him the benefit of the doubt but given it was a trial and we were flying when he tried it.

It was 6-4. Can still forgive him though. Took a risk. Didn't pan out.

its a shame he got carried, because that was a better king off return than any of our props are capable of
Not enough experience with it to know that it's fine if you don't think the bloke you make first contact with can overpower you but you need to not be stood up when the next two join in.

Agreed but it wasn't a deep kick off, I think Moyza caught it a bit further up field than what our props do and then realised he was better off going himself. Until it all fell apart anyway.

He did it with a smile on his face, so that was nice to see.
I'm sure we won't see it in a regular season game...

Hahahaha Moylan.

Waiting for everyone else to catch up and realise he needs to get the fk out of the team.

Defence and attack woeful, useless

If coach picks Moylan again, hopefully he can find some form. Otherwise it’s time to put Trindall to work

Moylan played a different role tonight, more the traditional stand off 5/8th role compared to where he normally plays a 60/40 half/5-8th role. And it showed.

Same issues applied whilst he played next to Chad. Not suited to playing with a dominate half.

Genuine question, isn’t Hynes also a dominate half?

Don't worry, he'll do well when we play the **** teams
Yep and everyone will be frothing. He is not the future and he is not the present

He’s so good he let a young kid with about 20 first grade games outshine him
