Also at times you get mediocre guys who should be on min wage or a couple hundred K get bribed like and extra 100k to go to Tigers because they want them and literally have to spend the extra to ensure they get them

I don't disagree. They've done surprisingly well recruitment-wise. But... for how long... We've seen these type of teams built and fall apart a couple of years later. The Tigers have to prove virtually everyone wrong at this point.

We're a top 2 side. And look like hanging around there for the next 3-5 years, minimum. We're building well for sustained success.

The big question is where that half is coming from. It'll still be a surprise if they get a half of that quality.
