Agreed mate, I wasn't advocating Wade as captain, I'd much rather have Dale. I was just saying at 31, it won't be long until he is looking over his shoulder at the next captain, which is probably Nicho.

Yeah I personally wanted this from the start of the year as well.
I like the idea of starting with a very strong pack and then brailey running more with tired forwards.
I would probably start with next year.

If Wade is re-signed, he is definitely going to be in the starting 13 especially if he is still captain, and he will continue to be first choice on that left edge. Wish we let him go or retire, but yeah square peg gotta fit somewhere, rather use him as a mid fwd off the bench and free up that left edge for Wilton or Talakai

The McInnes starting and Brailey coming off the bench plays out in my mind similar to the Panthers starting with Kenny.
I hadn't thought of it but I like it. McInnes doesn't even need to come off when Brailey goes on. He can shift to the middle forward and Dale can go to front row with a prop having their breather.
