I was going well in a draft which Cleary, Brooks and Kennedy all just died in.
It's a 20 team one too so there is no depth to trade in.
No no halfback, no fullback
RIP

(Elliot potentially injured too..)

Can't get O'Sullivan? Or maybe Miller?

NOPE! Both in teams already.

I should be able to get one of Madden or Arthur off Waivers...
My backup option is I think the guy with Sexton on his bench might trade him for Feldt...
(edit: maybe not actually Feldt is questionable too haha)

At fullback Campbell is available.

But I'm 17/20 for waivers so people could easily beat me to these players and someone needs a Moses replacement too.

Anyone with the swagger to swap out Cleary for Miller if he gets the call up? I'm toying with it and using the extra cash to make an upgrade elsewhere (probably to get Cook).
The other option is Doueihi. He should kill it without Brooks and Hastings, especially against Newcastle.

What a POD Miller could be... I think I just want him in for the ride :)

I'm pretty hamstrung, left myself with three trades, so I can only really make the one right now.
I could go Cleary to anyone but only at 7, no duals to look elsewhere.
I am a little tempted to go Miller tbh as a POD and then next time I need to make a trade I'd have a heap of cash spare. Might be less of a POD in this league than my other one haha

So that's Cleary, Brooks, Kennedy, Feldt and likely Elliot all out of my team... well I guess that'd my draft season tanked then!

Thought I might be able to trade one of my CTW like Feldt for Sexton but Feldt injured now, and Sexton looking likely for Cup football anyway!

Only chance is some luck with the waivers to get Madden or Arthur and Campbell, but that's a long fall from Cleary and Kennedy

I'm dead in our Head 2 Head but still alive in another, up against guy who has had highest score last few weeks though so I need a good Garrick replacement if I am to beat him.

Was thinking Ramien, Suaalii, AJ or Doueihi

He has Doueihi so that'd just cancel each other out and I probably need whoever I bring in to gain me points, not match.

He's looking at AJ or Holmes (I've already got Holmes).

Do I back the boys and go Ramien? Or any other suggestions?

My draft above has continued to be cursed, Best out for missing the damn bus and Moses back early and I wasn't able to get him on waivers.
So I'm in finals but likely to drop straight out.

Go Ramien or Suaalii. Ramien less likely to give you a 20-30 so he'd be my pick.

Suaalii has the Tigers this weekend...
That's my toss up really atm

Back Suaalii to score a million vs tigers or will the roosters score to easy to even need to use the winger?

I'd call that the high risk high reward strat but then Ramien could punch in a very big score potentially too

Suaalii is looking like breaking out, my gut says he is the pick.
Ramien has a great draw but doesnt often get the blow out scores you'll probably need.
AJ is your all or nothing guy. Risky this week tough as Latrell might not be playing.
Doueihi... you don't need a Tiger in your life mate.

I have both these guys and haven’t been dissapointed ..
I only need two good weeks from them!

ATM ignoring captain and same players I need the guys on left to outscore guys on right

Suaalii/Ramien + Tass + Val vs AJ (or whoever he brings in but he said AJ or Val), Manu and Doueihi
Drinkwater vs Brown
JT13 + Sivo vs two of Koloamatangi/Crichton/Walker (probably the roosters?)

So I'm definitely in danger.
Sivo was a gamble I took last week to replace May and got scorned but still won.

Maybe I back Suaalii to outscore Manu - probably higher ceiling than Ramien and I think I need to hit a few ceilings to win through

Wait for the first 4 games of the weekend to play out and then see how far behind/in front you are. If you're ahead, then you can look to cancel out one of his danger guys and if you are behind then you can look to the guy with the highest ceiling.

Suaalii has a good match up this week, but has Melbourne (in Melbourne) next week. Of course, if you lose this week, next week doesn't really matter!

Looks tight mate - just get the (c) correct - and that is tough enough in itself - I went Tedesco last week !

True I can leave Garrick in for now and hold my cards until Sat morning.

Then there is the age old Q of who to VC and C
Tossing up between Trell and Drinky for VC - Drinky should score big but has been inconsistent, Trell I think could continue his strong form an do a number on the no halves/no JFH Panthers... I think Trell is the more likely to hit a score worth looping

C probably Hynes or Teddy. I could see Roosters pilfering each other for points and someone like Teddy not going huge (plus can't VC Trell), so I am thinking of backing our boy Hynes to get the job done.
He might go Hynes too as he is also a Sharks fan but he went Munster last week so hasn't necessarily shown Hynes massive faith in the past.

Apparently we have all been pronouncing Suaalii's name wrong now.

It's no longer Su-a-li but Swa-li-i or something like that.
