Douehi can also play 6, I like that he’s not afraid to take a game on

Yeah I know but I think that with their current roster he's the best option at the back, depending obviously on how he comes back from that ACL tear, think it's his second?

If they were to move Brooks on I would definitely put him in the 6 but still be looking for a better option at the back.

Staines ? Why do people rate Staines
Didn't he knock back a big offer at the Dogs ? or was that just a rumour floating around.

Probably should have taken it. Seems like an OK winger but mostly been spoon fed all his tries and let's face it Jarred Anderson could dominate in that Panthers team.

I would like for us to grab a centre. I don't know who, though. Move Talakai back into the forwards. I would like to see a backrow off Talakai, Wilton and McInnes.

Another prop would be great as well.

im not sold on mcinnes as a long term lock, or to start going forward

id like talakai in the 13 IF we can grab a centre, or bite the bullet and promote kayal iro

the dogs offered him a deal and he re-signed thinking he would get the starting spot, which he would have but talan may has been incredible

i personally think he needs out of the sydney scrutiny and should go to the dolphins

I think McInnes coming on after 25 mins is ideal. He really upt the tempo and intensity when he did it the first 3 or 4 games earlier in the year.

I like Cam off the bench against tired forward as well.

Lots of talent available in the centres from November, excuse me whilst I day dream about Crichton somehow landing here...

Don’t need to move Sifa to have Cam back on the bench. Just need Dale and BHU back and firing.

Dale is a perfect 13 for this team. Was our best player up until the Storm game.

Yeah I think I have also come round to McInnes best position (when possible) being bench, but still as a lock for me.
I like Finucane starting at locking but moving to prop to accommodate.
But I also prefer Graham at lock now too...

BHU Finucane Graham rotate to Hunt Williams/Tolman McInnes is maybe the best fit if we ever have all healthy.

You've got Fifita, the other of Williams/Tolman and Hazelton then as the backups into these roles (with Fifita rotating into the lock role if one of Graham or McInnes was out.

I like Dale as starting 13 a lot, gets him away from kick off returns and utilises his passing game great. Unfortunately very tricky to cram him, McInnes and Graham all into one on field position.

You can fix that by using Graham on an edge but I don't like that either haha

If science finds a way to make this possible, he will be one hell of a player. Might be susceptible to head knocks though.

We have our own version of Justin Olam and we want to move him ?

How about with Wade and Fifitas money we spend money on forwards, how many centres can we actually go get that are better then Talakai ? And if so they are over 700k.

Like burgess said there is BHU and there is Finucane there’s also Kaufusi and then there is Vaughan who we should target because right now we are lacking in that department partner it up with an upgrade on Nikora/ or even Nikora if we choose to settle and Wilton on the other side and we are set across the park.

We honestly just need a gun half and and a solid forward

Gus is a master bullshitter but a journo would dream something up overnight and call it 'mail'

I thought the Dogs wanted a Bulldogs man, someone experienced , a hard ass that commands respect? Fitler doesn't make much sense after getting rid of Barret beyond the connection with Gould.

They may as well just give Potter rest of the season to show if he is up to it
But then potentially miss out on Flanno, Green, Fitler, Ciraldo etc etc

They need to get onto it before all the other options disappear.

You are 100% right on the fact it would be much more cost-effective to recruit in the middle and leave Talakai out wide.

Yep - Probably not many centres worth spending big $$ to poach. In general that is a position you develop rather than buy.

Sharks have decent depth in outside backs coming though too, so even if Sifa/Tracey just keep a spot warm for a couple of years that’s fine.

Iro looks like he'd near be a sure thing as an NRL player.
Ferris has shown he is up to it if he can stay healthy.

Some of the other youngins like Lualua, Stonestreet showing good signs as outside backs too

Yeah I think if we are happy to use Talakai for at least one more season (which I am) then we should be looking at some internal options coming through if we then want to move him or get bid out of Ramien

I’d be shocked if Samrani isn’t on an NRL contract next season. Sharks had to beat our other teams to keep him, so I can’t see him sticking around for that extra year on a “Flegg only” contract.

Iro has been killing it all year in reserve grade. Would be surprised if he doesn’t debut this year.

I knew I was forgetting one but I couldn't be bothered looking at lists, yeah he is another I'd put with Lualua and Stonestreet.
