Holmes, Munster and Carrigan were unbelievable. All 3 deserved MOM.

I don't think QLD had a bad player all night, despite losing Coates early and Nanai for a spell.

Cotter playing 80 minutes in the middle with ease too.
QLD wanted more and they pacified NSW. Munster, Holmes and Grant were on fire, especially the second half. Carrigan was awesome through out the whole game.

Isn’t Rugby League just so much better when we don’t have 25 set restarts, 18 penalties and dozens of stoppages?
Depends how much you like 5 sec play the balls and 5m defensive lines.

Now the whole of NSW knows what it's like to be a Sharks supporter.

1. Show some promise in first 15mins
2. Lose all sense of direction when opposition change their strategy or tempo.
3. Provide some false hope late in the game to just to make you watch to the end but still lose.
4. Get owned by Munster and Grant.
5. Make you focus on the ref for bad calls that cost you the game.

Cleary’s been absolutely bullied out of this game, he’s been a non factor.
Part of the reason for that imo is the gap between Luai and Munster was the biggest gap on the field between a play and his opposition. Luai was okay but added by far least of the 4 halves.

Paulo was held in the scrum.
I thought that was really bad. He was impacted as much as an obstruction they’d call back… hell, he was impacted as much as Cardigan was in the Paulo no try

6. Because of #3, be hopeful for the next game (and rinse and repeat)

Cam Smith’s cheerleading is worse then when Wally and Fatty were in the box. Jesus Christ.
Nein's commentary team is horrible. First time this year I had the misfortune of listening to them... Instantly made Ennis and Roach bearable. Unbelievable!

Am filthy we lost tonight..
I guess the better team won……. Nah…….
Anyways.
Just got home, pissed, and also more pissed off at some of **** I heard come from the mouth of the EighTC immortal tonight.
Seriously got the feeling during his commentary, that he must have put his house on QLD to win?? And also doubled up, with Munster for MOM.

Was worse than listening to Sterlo, commentate on a Parra game.

Um…..
Hang On……

Just read back through the comments, to see if someone had been mentioned something similar, before I continue on my drunken rant.

And now feel like…🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

Was that, Cam Smith on commentary during the game???
Not Joey????
Was I that drunk??
If so??
I retract above comments!
And will head to McDonald’s asap…

(As a one-eyed Queenslander) I didn't have a problem with it at all.

I'd like to see it compared to players breaking from other scrums - in that game and week-to-week in the NRL. Opposing front rowers having their arms around each other in a scrum is hardly a rare moment.

Tend to agree mate. If a team is relying on the front rowers to tackle the half back off a scrum then they are in trouble.

To me the Blues try and play too clinical and rely on getting the upper hand through quick playbthe balls. When this doesn't go to plan they get stuck.

On the other hand, QLD like to get into the scrap and win through offloads and off the cuff footy.

Same as obstruction then, only matters in a try scoring situation.

Bunker has just confirmed your allowed to hold opposition in scrum

Anyone remember if we had a challenge at that point?

I don't think we even used a challenge... not that it mattered, cos the Bunker supposedly checked everything and said it was fine.
