Jesse imo is a poor-man’s Finucane. Smaller, but plays above his weight and uses the ball.Unfortunately I am assuming Trindall still in starting side. I did consider it could go to Hiroti or Ikuvalu instead, I think both would get considered above Calquhoun as he is a smaller forward. I think Pele or Hazleton could get selected though as Fitz def has shown some interest in all forward benches.
I've narrowed it down to those four as maybes and a couple others like Calquhoun as maybe maybes and someone like Trindall who might otherwise be in the starting side as maybe maybe maybes.

Be surprised if the bench stays like that.Still a surprisingly strong looking team if Miller plays well.
Just thought if they debuted a forward they’d go the bigger one given who we have availableJesse imo is a poor-man’s Finucane. Smaller, but plays above his weight and uses the ball.
I too like this side and ot happy with Wade cutting Wilton.I like the side as Hynes is back at 7 and I don't mind Miller at 1 for one week.
But I'd have Hazelton on the bench for Trindall and I'd swap Tieg and Wade.
I know Tieg is young but when you have a young guy being spoken about as an Origin bolter, bench is not his spot.
If you have to have Wade in the starting 13 then put him in number 13. Have McInnes on the bench.
Could still start that way of course but we'll have to wait until 3pm on Sunday.
Kudos to Fitz for not being stubborn but it makes no sense keeping Trindall on the bench or anywhere else except 7 for the jets just means we are going to end up in the same spot again if a half goes down.. bafflingI like the side as Hynes is back at 7 and I don't mind Miller at 1 for one week.

Yes mate, totally agree with you. Perhaps there are still a few changes to see at 3pm on Sunday.Kudos to Fitz for not being stubborn but it makes no sense keeping Trindall on the bench or anywhere else except 7 for the jets just means we are going to end up in the same spot again if a half goes down.. baffling
Said it before I have a feeling that he’s going push out Teig for Wade, sad if that’s how it goes on game day. Wade shouldn’t be granted a starting spot just like that…
Looking forward to Miller go
Yeah - got that. Jesse might be a good one to put in for a game where Finucane is missing but they have the bigger bodies healthy.Just thought if they debuted a forward they’d go the bigger one given who we have available
Wade's just such a different player. He sometimes wants to play like a back rower and other times he wants to be a short-side five eighth. In the past I've always thought Moylan has played his best games at 6 with a "normal" back rower like Soro/Boogs outside him who would just run lines and make tackles. If you look at it from the position of who will have more impact off the bench the answer you come up with is probably Teig. Much more likely to bend a tired line than Wade
Wade looked pretty good last week I thought and his instincts down that left side are certainly still there, giving him an opportunity to feed Talakai even more early ball doesn't seem the worst idea either.
From memory they strung some good games together at times but often got in each other’s way when they hadn’t played together for a bitWade's just such a different player.
