I was gutted Val left. Over it now though!
Same. Only because the had the potential to be the GOAT shark. Had most tries in a season, could have possibly had the most games, tries, points… it could have been anything. He’ll be talked about for being in that 2016 team forever, but that wasted legacy really gets me

It’s also the way he went about it.
The delay in letting us know and then the “if you don’t release me I’ll sit out the season” threat left a sour taste in my mouth when it comes to Val.

Warriors want Mudcalf yesterday. They are actively trying to get him for this year.

The real Mudcalf problem is that quite a few people have a high opinion of him but none of them are as high as his own self opinion,

Still not sure where he is playing next year with all the halves they have and Walsh staying.

I reckon we're good for centres though, and fullback. I hear you, he's good to watch.
It doesn't make financial sense to recruit him now, but player for player I'd take him over almost anyone in our 1-5. If Talakai ends up in the second row he could take that centre spot.

Id have him over Ramien - controversial i know, but Ramien is becoming a bit of a liability with his discipline
Plus Val can kick goals.

I wouldn't, especially when taking into account salary cap.

Yeah that's key, financial. Our back 5 is so good cap wise, no way I'd change it.

I call BS.

Everyone knows that the Roosters can afford Munster AND retain those 3 and everyone else they want to keep.

They just need to make room for 1 in their 30 man squad.

Yeh they still have money left over from when SBW and Cronk retired!
