There was a rumour that the hold up was that the old man wanted to announce it when they were ready but the club wanted to announce it straight away

Probably not true but if it is, that seems rather trivial on their behalf, why hold it up

Regardless, he's not worth the hype nor the money

He's one of those guys who should thank the media for his bank account and for clubs falling for it

Yeah agreed mate, it's far to important of a position to have someone way to inconsistent like him, I get how good he can be when's he's on but it very rare

Not sure how the coaching staff and management don't see that in Newcastle. Because really, the money he has been on you'd have to say he has been a fail up there

The marketing department has to be overruling the football department. Or at least having too much say.

I understand Munster's hype. No idea how Ponga is in the same sorta discussions value wise. If Pongs is a mill then Munster is 2.3 & WK $950k. It's not sustainable or even workable under current cap. Knights going nowhere & the Ponga family getting rich.

Yeah agreed, wk may not ever be able to put on a show like ponga can on his day but you'd rather a consistent Kennedy at his price then a ponga at a million a year waiting for a few good days a year

Munster is a team changer, ponga isn't
