has been steadily finding his way and his place in this team in his first 2 games which were actually pretty decent/good but he was great on Friday.

Quick runs/darts and PTBs (sub 3 second, quickest in our team) , some nice passes, decoys and flawless defense

Gave us spark and quality, dangerous player

The Dragons let this bloke go and replaced him with McCullough, that's still hilarious but I am laughing harder now with us at top end of ladder and dragons down low

I know what you mean & id take McInnes over McCullough as well but it wasn’t about a talent decision by the Dragons, it was cap management driven,
eg McInnes wanted around 550k
Dragons could get McCulough for say 350-400k
Yes they lose a percentage of talent v talent but in their eyes, the 150k to 200k they saved in cap space was worth swap & they’d use the cap savings in other positions or players

I don't think they spent that 150k saved very well . hooker is one of the most important positions , especially if you can have a good one

His 1st PTB on Friday might just be the quickest I've ever seen.

That’s not even accurate I don’t think. As far as I am aware biggest factor was timing - he wanted to get **** sorted and they weren’t prepared to make any decisions at that time. Guess they assumed he’d wait…

Not sure how you can that’s not accurate?
I’ve heard/read snippets of contract situation both what I posted & what you posted, unless you spoke to McInnes directly which I doubt you have we are both accurate or not accurate or both of us have NFI.
