Yeah , I don't have a real problem with it .
Kick the ball , from off the ground and land squatted close to the ground if you need too , completely untouched by any defence.
It would be legal
Smart play , rather than be smashed a second after ball leaves boot , when vulnerable with a leg still on the ground.

Thanks Burgo. Nice job (as always).
I’d be interested to see a comparison for the edge forwards work rate.
im just wondering if Nikora‘s work rate is reasonably similar to the other edge forwards. He “come across” to be very lazy (on face value) but that could just be a perception.

noticed it so far bort, it's terrible.

we really need to fix our discipline - it is woeful. we give stupid penalties away. not good enough. Fitz needs a fix in this area.
you can't do that. teams will punish you

parra are f****ed, overrated team. will enjoy work on Monday

I can't help but think alot of those penalties are by design. Roosters were a very heavily penalised team last year too.

I think alot of the penalties are a by product of us holding down a bit to set our defensive line and from us rushing of our line a bit fast.

Being back at home with a full strength team and an actual coach hits different.

Been critical of Fifita, but wanted him to get a game at home, even if he had a couple minute stint for a send off. For him to earn it, achieve his goal for the year and be a part of last night all in one makes me tear up.

those by design are needed when you put it like that, yes of course, but I'm more focussed on the ones that aren't for holding down.
once that balance is right. the inside the ten frustrated me last night

We also give a lot if late tackle penalties away as well (or it seems we do). That can't be by design.

I did a defensive work-rate comparison of all of the back rowers in the competition for round 1. It's in the Nikora thread.
