TBF our game against the Broncs earlier in the year was one of the most entertaining and exciting end to end games I have seen in a very long time, it was a cracker of a contest. Like something from the late 90's

Its funny so many have been bagging Hannay lately but lets be real, if we still had Morris coachin we are probably sitting in the exact same position right now. The team hasnt gone forward or backward under Hannay, at the start of the year 7-10th is about where most had us finishing (if not lower). Shows just why the club sought a new coach.
I don’t think the argument for Bomber to stay was ever for this season.
I also don’t think it is that unrealistic to think we may have had an extra win or two through Bomber though, having avoided the unsettling and probably SJ issues

I agree - I think we sit alongside Newcastle if Bomber stayed .
Not a massive difference and similar to the last few years - and I also accept that would not have been good enough ..

And don’t forget that means we most likely would’ve hung on to Chad and SJ which also means no Hynes signing no Metcalf and no Trindall unless injuries

We may well be a win or two behind this year..
But next years team that Fitz has had his fingerprints on will be 4 to 6 wins better I’m confident on. I respect and liked Jmo but the club now looks like we are all paddling in the right direction, no infighting making its way into the paper, no recruitment leaks.. we really seem to have gotten more professional
