Getting lots of media airplay re his covid dinner. Reckon we may have seen his last game for the Sharks.
Would have liked to have seen him play a few more games for us. Will miss the schlomping noise of his body being stretched into weird shapes as he refuses to die with the ball close to our line.

$25k fine is a pretty big whack.

Does feel like if the NRL says don’t go to any pubs/cafe etc then it’s pretty obvious the correct move is not to go to any. Thought he was past dumb stuff like that

Him. There is a statement on NRL website.
Where this differs from the Bulldogs players is that it states the Sharks made fully informed Dugan of the requirements.

It was a dumb move.
The club and NRL advised all players what they can and can not do.
Unfortunately it looks like Dugan spat the dummy about his playing situation and decided to raise his middle finger up at the club.
Shame way to finish off his NRL career. Maybe (probably/ hopefully) a SL team will pick him up.
He doesn’t deserve to end like that!

I guess club could also fine him and see if that irritates him enough he asks to leave or negotiate out of his deal. Do we know how long he's not allowed to play for as a result of this indiscretion?
Bit of a shame for him really, split with wife, dropped from NRL, no apparent interest from other clubs, now this and big fine. Probably doing it pretty tough (although a lot of that circumstance definitely of his own doing)
