It seems the June 30 deadline has been changed. I’ve heard a couple of different reports about development players being available for this coming round.

Will post this in the 2021 discussion thread too.

Oh goody, this is actually a big exciting. Is Ferris fit? Or still injured? Also keen to see what Metcalf can do eventually if he gets a chance.

Ferris has been reported as round 11 or 12 - so I guess that’s a maybe.

Trindal and Metcalf halve pairing would be fine by me. Give the boys a go. I haven’t watched a full game in weeks so could care less if we are pumped by 80

yeah it's August 1 now isn't it? Think they announced that early in the year.

I'd say Vasquez is a good chance if Fifita can't make it, suppose Billy will probably just come in.

Hannay's propensity to drop Dugan and only bring him in when desperate means maybe we'll see Lualua come in and Tracey at centre. Or maybe Ronnie is back and we dont' need to bring anyone up ?

No. August 1 for transfer/signing deadline. Different thing.

Previously June 30 was the deadline for the transfers AND the date after which dev players were allowed to play NRL.

When the NRL announced the 1 August change, they didn’t announce a change for the dev players, so it was assumed June 30 stayed. Now we know though - from round 11.

Stoked. Tracey and Talakai last week + those already signed, we are getting there. Now to sort out the 6 and 7. Great no re-signing announcements about our dead wood even at hugely reduced rates.

I wasn't interested before last night and I'm not interested now.

Bloke is an out and out dud. He's a mentally lightweight midget.

Thanks for update. A quick question. Based on that, we have our 30 for this year?

So much for the player walk out. We have now locked up probably the only 4 really worth keeping out of the off contract list.

Out of what’s left I would like to see Trindall signed on a 1 year deal, then probably one of Johnson or Moylan on a 1 year too because there isn’t much else available. Then a small handful will probably need to be re-signed as depth. Be nice to see a big named prop jagged soon.

Seems like the player walkout was just Chad trying to convince everyone to leave. “Let’s all walk out, that’ll show them”

“Right behind you Chad...”
