Ahead of schedule with his rehab and only expected to miss the first few games of the season.

Not sure he’s going to walk back into the 17 but good to have him available

Wont walk into the 17 will steamroll into the 17.

Unless things change big time I think this is the year Nikora, Jack Williams and Woods fall off

Good news!

Will be tough to keep out of the 17 once he is fit to go, was massive last season but not sure how we fit him in. But we should.
Likely someone will be struggling by the time Royce is ready.

Has to be there on 2020 form. May need a game or two in cup for fitness after missing so much time, but if he performs the same he has to be on that bench.

Happy for Woods to fade outta the team. What he offers becomes more outdated every round. The other 2 can improve so hope they do. Jack could be a weapon if he can put it all together. Brit needs to improve D a hell of a lot & add some more tricks apart from the overs line.

Apparently today was first time for big Royce back running.

Noted by NRL physio 'Sharks initial estimate of a Rd8-10 return (8 months post surgery), but wouldn’t be surprising to see him back in the early rounds considering his good rehab progress & usual best case return for patellar tendon repair of 6 months post surgery'
On top of Bomber stating earlier in the week Royce is ahead of schedule and may only miss a few games.

Update video on the big Hunt.
He’s pushing for round 1 and sounds like expectation is for him to be available, if not for round 1, then soon after.

Doing rehab running but also joining into warmup games with the main squad so they obviously have a bit of confidence in his knee holding up. Hoping to move into fuller training and contact next week.

Also looking pretty damn huge

Haven’t seen enough of him yet, I know he’s not a back & doesn’t have all the tricks like they can but this season will give a good indication on how good he is, it’ll be his second season & others teams will now know his strengths & weakness’s.
Likewise for Nikora, come back to the field big time in his second season, hopefully these guys are working on their games.

Not sure there is much to figure out when someone runs hard and tackles hard. Your comments ring true but I’d be surprised if Talakai can back up the season he had before Hunt does. Playing at such a high pace can only be done for so long. I hope both of them won’t be put off by a good season and are willing to put in just as much this year

Yep, as I said, unlike backs the forwards don’t really have a bag of tricks.
Othe teams but would have studied the s#%t out of him, simple things like if he is effective tackling either side of his shoulder, what his tendencies are like defending on the goal line, I remember myself from last season, he tends to switch off@ times on the line, whether he was gassed or not.

If you believe the NRL site Royce is scheduled to return this week.

Be great news if true.
