So he gives up 20 points but contributes 10. Maths ain’t your strong suit hey

That's all you've got? Well done.
So you agree then, you only look at the negative. If another player makes a mistake it is still Chad's fault in your eyes. Good to know. You have no idea and are simply out to blame one player in some sort of weird fetish.

As I said pre game, repeat sets and penalties will kill us.

If people think a 7 tackle set is big then a 9-10 tackle set is bigger, you can't afford to give away 6 again on 3rd or 4th tackle.

Giving away penalties is like giving the opposition an extra player if using meters gained. Eg 6 penalties x 30m = 180m which is close to what the highest player gets in a game.

Wk was a plus. the kid is pushing a claim for sure on his position.
tedesco was kept quiet, thats a win.

first half was very good, our forwards were impressive, needed a full 80 from the whole squad, especially against top 8 teams

the brett morris try in the first half is very disappointing; I was hoping our invigorated defence on the line in 2021 could have kept him out,
hiroti just let a smart winger like Brett on his outside just a tad too much.

but will be blamed for bashing CT with this post

It wasn’t Walker who turned the game. It was Radley. He was basically playing halfback. Walker just threw the final passes.

Yeah I agree, Walker did well at the end but Radley was the difference with their forwards on front foot.

Also, while I am 100% disappointed in Chad's goal line defence pretty rare an NRL halfback is there for his 1 on 1 stops on the tryline. How about we don't let Roosters roll up the field time after time so our half doesn't have to make tryline tackles.
Our pack faded hard and Roosters came home strong, maybe something to do with the 8 injuries we've had last three weeks (all before half time?)
As always, Chad was good while team were going well, not as good while team wasn't going as well. Continues to need to be a massive talking point for some.

We lost the forward battle, plain and simple. Our forwards couldn't match it in the 2nd half. We needed more from Woods and BHU.
Our forwards were pretty good for 60ish minutes until they were cooked

I'm in the minority of being able to see that not every mistake, every play, every dropped ball or stupid decision in a game is his fault. Did he do some things stupid tonight? Yes he did. Kicking to Tupou all night was poor.

Think it was game plan not just something Chad did. Kick to Tupou he runs back hard but isn't especially threatening. Kick to Teddy or Morris and they run back hard and threatening and then Tupou runs back next one hard and just makes the meters then instead. I'm fine with that tactic tbh.

I agree on that first one.

4 of the 5 Roosters tries shouldn’t have been scored. Sharks had numbers and one player made a mistake.

The sooner we can get rid of the dead weight in this team the better. To think we have so much money tied up in Moylan, Fifts and Dugan who are all offering next to nothing, and we are still pumping out solid performances is nothing short of amazing. Anything other problems in the team is merely a by product of that. SJ, Hunt, Talakai, Katoa all missing too... Not really surprising we played for 60 minutes

Dugan is offering nothing?

I think he’s been great. He’s overpaid, and keeps busting his head open, but he’s not part of the problem.

You could get similar output for a lot less for sure. Same as ramien. If we could save some dosh there we could buy another halfback... I don’t even care about winning, I’m just sick of my brain bleeding after every game reading the Chadsturbaters posts

Long time lurker first post... But let me tell you all a story, to bring back better memories. Something I’d forgotten about, until a mate brought it up tonight...
back in 2014 I was at the Terrey Hills Taven drinking with a mate, walked through the pokie room and saw a lady drop $20 dollars, I picked it up and returned it to her, to my surprise though crusher cleal was her husband who was surprised at my honesty, and was very appreciative. Fast forward to later in the night. I ended up having a few beers with him and his wife, while watching a sharks game. 1 thing that I’d forgotten about but my mate remembered, was that I’d asked him not to steal our up and coming hooker... He was the bulldogs recruitment guy at the time. So me talking up leecha that night, lead him to make a deal to swap for Ennis... who without we probably wouldn’t have won our 2016 premiership.
