Great.
So we are paying ourselves for FOJ sponsorship!
Hopefully we are working on a big announcement soon.

It's not unheard of, Bears were sponsored by Norths for a while, Souths have used Souths Juniors, Bulldogs have done it.

Who knows, there might be a tax write off in there to save us some money.

Plus, extra promotion for our new business venture.

And I think it's looks great on the charity jersey.

It's only temporary until (if) we sign another major.

I think it's win-win

Sydney Food Distributors, known as SFD, a leading food distributor delivering a wide range of quality products to restaurants, cafes, pubs and clubs throughout Sydney, is back on board – back on the NRL playing shorts - as a Sharks corporate partner for the 2021 season.

Previously known as Sydney Freezers and a Sharks partner in 2019, the SFD branding appearing on the playing strip for the 2021 season provides a significant boost as the NRL squad finalises their summer training block next week ahead of the Christmas break.

SFD’s Ali Fardous was excited to be joining forces with the Cronulla club once again and was anticipating the partnership with the Sharks to be a constructive one for both organisations.

“We had a positive experience as a Sharks sponsor in 2018 and 2019, had to discontinue in 2020 as a result of the COVID challenges but we are excited to renew our association ahead of the 2021 season,” Mr Fardous said.

"To again be partnering with a Club that is passionate about its local community like the Sharks is a great fit for SFD. We felt part of the family last time we were involved and look forward to that relationship continuing and strengthening next year and in the years ahead," he added.

Similarly, Sharks Head of Partnerships and Hospitality Rebecca Hughes was delighted to have a quality partner such as SFD displaying confidence in the brand by committing its support to the Club in 2021.

"We are extremely pleased to be welcoming SFD back into our corporate family. The previous partnership was a positive one and I have no doubt this renewed association can build into a successful and long-term relationship," Hughes said.

"SFD is a leader in the food distribution business and we will be doing all we can to promote their brand in a positive light and to hopefully enhance their commercial opportunities."

An Australian owned business operating for over 25 years, SFD has extensive food service experience.

They strive to deliver on their slogan of 'trust one of the best', in priding themselves on quality, service and reliability, in servicing a wide and extensive range of businesses including restaurants, cafes, pubs and clubs.

The #1 in food service and distribution in the metropolitan area, SFD specialise in smallgoods, fresh meat, fresh poultry, frozen seafood, dry and frozen goods, packaging and chemicals, in offering an extensive range of products in all food type categories.

A new (returning) sponsor is great news! Maybe we can do them a favour back and help them come up with a half decent slogan

Watching Fox 502, replay of 1995 Sharks v Knights, we are playing in our Reebok jersey, I wonder whether we (marketing dept) ever try to reach out to Reebok (marketing dept) & say lets go back to the past & do it all over again.

From my teenage yrs to early to mid 20’s the Reebok brand was big, we should sell it to them we can help you grow your brand again, although it might be a conflict of interests with our jersey maker we have now?

Apparently global Courier and Packaging company Aramex is about to be announced as our new major sponsor. That’s a bloody big get if true, especially in the current financial climate.

Courier companies have done extremely well in the past year, they'd be hoping Covid continues.

Will be great to get this done, if true.

The Cronulla Sharks announce that global logistics powerhouse Aramex Australia has signed on as the club’s major partner for the 2021-2022 seasons.
An international organisation which operates in 65 countries and delivers to 220 nations around the world, Aramex has more than 12,000 offices, 33,000 vehicles and 66,000 employees globally.

The distinctive Aramex logo and branding will appear on the front of the Sharks NRL jersey and be prominently displayed at home games and on other assets as the club’s principal sponsor.

Sharks CEO Dino Mezzatesta was thrilled to announce the new partnership and to be joining forces with such a reputable international brand.
“Not only is Aramex widely recognised internationally but now knowing their operations and vast network here in Australia, it is clear we are partnering with a huge and highly successful organisation,” Mr Mezzatesta said.
“I’m very pleased to welcome them as our major partner and we are confident the success the Sharks are looking to achieve in the coming years will also translate to widespread exposure, brand awareness and success for Aramex as well.”
“Further to this, we acknowledge Aramex’s outstanding community work and coupled with our commitment and the high importance we also place on that area of our business, I have no doubt we can achieve some great things together,” Mezzatesta added.
Aramex Australia CEO Peter Lipinski was equally excited, while looking forward to ‘delivering’ success to the Sharks with this new sponsorship arrangement.
“The Sharks have a fantastic management and coaching team and the most loyal fans in the NRL. We’re so pleased to be partnering with such a well-loved and talented club,” Mr Lipinski said.
“We look forward to supporting the players and fans for a successful 2021 season and already we know with an exceptionally high calibre of players, this is the club to beat.”
Aramex Australia, with 31 Regional Franchises, more than 900 Courier Franchisees and a network that reaches far and wide, are the delivery partner of choice for more than 25,000 Aussie businesses.

Great news, especially with today's market. Though I expect a business like that to have done pretty well during COVID.

I think the red looks pretty good on the jersey too!
