If this is the final line-up it would be very disappointing for Vasquez to be named at #21

Sharks: A number of changes announced 24 hours before the game with Toby Rudolf and Siosifa Talakai out of the side, replaced by Teig Wilton and Scott Sorensen.

Braydon Trindall and Billy Magoullias were added to the bench on Friday and local junior Daniel Vasquez was told he'd be making his NRL debut, although the make-up of the final 17 is still unknown.

Wade Graham has swapped to the halves with Shaun Johnson injured. Nene Macdonald has replaced Sione Katoa (leg) on the wing while Mawene Hiroti will replace Josh Dugan (knee) at centre.

The Sharks have lost all seven games against top-eight opposition in 2020.

He’d better, probably his last chance to in a Sharks jersey if he doesn’t. I really don’t see the hype in him. Hope I’m wrong but there’s probably a good reason why other guys have been jumping him the queue all year.

Agree, but deserves a chance.

Especially if Nikora gets repeated chances

We are definitely on the easier side of the draw - raiders then eels instead of rabbits then storm/roosters.

May I just ask, what happened with Vasquez, I thought he was in the 17 but as far as I can see he's only in the 19? I've been looking forward to seeing him until I've only seen him in the 19.

Only have to trim players from the squad, don’t need to lock in your final lineup

I thought it had been confirmed though from the website he'd been making his official debut? If he gets confirmed but only makes the 19 then it would be pretty dissapointing.
