Well if Lachlan and Oliver don't like it then it is definitely worth a news story.

I still personally think just the mouth would have been better, don't worry about nose/eyes.
The missus also pointed out to me the shark looks sad and now I can't unsee that either

Of course it's sad. It's been made into a football jersey.

Genuine sharkskin jersey.

Me too. I’m delighted. We should never of gone away from the hoop in the first place after 2016.

Can't have the same jersey every year - won't make any money!

But hoop is definitely the best.

I wonder if we just stuck with hoop, so people rarely bought new jerseys, if sales of other gear and promo jerseys would come up enough to compensate.
But you do potentially have an issue with new sponsors now having a decreased likelihood of being on jerseys being worn around

Works for the Bunnies and the Dragons among others. I’d rather us have a “traditional” strip and what better design then the hoops? The jersey we won our first comp in. Use the alternate or away strip to gouge people every year if we feel like ripping people off, but the hoops should be left alone.

And in the AFL.

Home jersey should remain consistent and traditional. If they want to muck around with an away jersey every now and then, I could live with that.

Home stays at hoops
Away predominately black, changes every 3 years
Different indigenous jersey every year (even though I'd prefer a set one)
Different Nines every year they have the tournament
A special jersey, Kokoda or promotional or milestone.

So if we kept the hoops full time, you can go 5 years buying a different jersey every year before you come back to the hoops. And by then we'd have different sponsors and a different cut.

the back looks crap with white at the top and a black chunk

keep it consistent

Personally, I don't mind it, but Hopefully it won't be an issue and we have a great big dirty sponsor splashed all over it to minimise the impact for you snowman.

Black patch works better for the player number but worse as a fan jersey.
White would be better blue but perhaps they went with white to ensure anyone interested in a sponsorship there could make their logo work
