Johnson was released by the Warriors because they knew he wasn’t the right guy to run the team. He’s a 6.

... and **** me it gets tiring seeing you mob go on about sacking spine players every time we lose a game because our forwards and outside backs can’t hold onto the ball coming out of our own end.

Totally agree. The Chad hate is weird. He’s better than the majority of starting 7’s in the comp, and he’s proven he can win a Comp and perform at the highest level, when the forwards do their job. This is all that can be expected of 90% of 7’s going around.

Our forwards and our error rate is why we are ****ed this year. And most of those errors are handling errors.

Finally some common sense .
Although I must admit , he did suck big time last game , even allowing for crap Sharks Forwards

I’m not specifically defending Chad and/or his form. I’m saying that it’s dumb bagging the 1/6/7/9 in any game where the biggest reason for losing is piss poor dropped balls inside our own end from other blokes.

Sure. My point is Chad is very effective when the rest of the team is doing their job. He is and has never been the kind of 7 that can single handedly win a game. There are very few of those, and they cost a lot more than Chad.

I dunno any half who can shine behind a beaten pack with limited ball. DCE has been white hot since Origin but was very ordinary against Warriors who dominated the ruck.
