Jordy Buijs looking very unlikely to re-sign. Negotiations have dragged on, Jordys asking for too much and he’s still pissed about being left out of the ACL team. WS circling with big money, that would sting. Matt Spiranvoic being lined up as a replacement.

As for Arnies replacement. I heard the job is Steve Corica’s if he wants it. Popovic has his backers but is looking unlikely. The Matilda’s coach Alex Stanjcic (I think that’s how you spell it) is a potential option too according to the papers and I heard there’s truth to that. But it’s more likely that if Corica doesn’t want it (which is an actual possibility, he likes the job he does now) they’ll either chase Paul Okon or go foreign.

Looks like Sydney FC will pick up Trent Buhagiar from the Mariners. Charles Lokolingoy will go the other way.

Yeah he's pretty good, still very young, but he's stood out a bit for the Mariners. Definitely not the finished product yet though. Impressive so far though.

No it didn’t. I’m glad I didn’t go (the missus is ready to pop with my firstborn so obviously could t take the risk). Honestly, I can’t be too mad about the season though. Yeah it was a shame it ended the way it did. But it’s very easy to look at the positives this season and ignore that one of, really, only two negatives this year. The other being the ACL.
