Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought he was carrying an ankle injury into the game. The calf injury was unrelated.
Our opposition had 43% possession, made 15 errors, conceded 8 penalties, completed at 65%, had a player sinbinned AND we still lose. We are ****. Simple. Storm would have put 150 on the roosters last night (albeit us too) - The writing is on the wall, we are so far off the pace it isn't funny. Let's be grateful we are somehow finishing in the 8 and playing a finals game. I hope the boys take a really good hard look at themselves and decide what hey want to do for the rest of the year. Continue to play this garbage brand of footy or give it one last crack. I think the former. The team looks defeated, slow, unfit, dumb, arrogant and just downright idiotic. Last night was the final nail in the coffin, we do this every year. We get our selves in a decent position, give ourselves a shot at top 4 and play our worst game of the year. Good work sharks nice title defence, thank god we won it last year as our window has closed.

Exactly. We were the better side in last year's grand final. We outplayed Melbourne and they were lucky to get ahead of us at all in that game.

We are way behind the top teams and we'll even struggle against the teams in the bottom 8.

Not over yet. A good finals run could be just around the corner- as much as this year cannot be compared to last year, remember the suicidal thoughts on here this time last year? We were playing just as garbage. Then bang bang bang into the Grandy. I still have hope. Just not confidence.

The difference is last year we showed good form throughout the year, it's been very, very rare this year.
